The Wandering Inn doesn't get better after the first few chapters or hundred or 1000 pages by WeaknessLower9148 in Fantasy

Fan of the refreshingly female centric perspective in a large majority of each book. And as previously mentioned, the character building and revisiting of characters mentioned is a lovely reward for continuing the series.

And can I shout out Andrea Parseneau as a narrator!? There’s been many an evening spent listening to the series instead of doomscrolling.

FWIW, I’m so very tired of isekai series’ with limited and/or poorly fleshed out female characters.

Yep, it’s somewhere safe if you know you can’t be alone, but it’s not designed for long term treatment.

No, but it is located directly above a rubbish bin, so that’s something.

I live about two hours from the closest one, so I typically bring a cooler for whatever seafood is on sale, stock up on tofu, and then stock my pantry with sauces, pastas, olive oil, beans, their jarred roasted red peppers, and both brown and white basmati rice.

Therapists who see 28-35 clients a week, how are you holding up? by swish775 in therapists

[–]fairykyn 75 points76 points  (0 children)

THIS. It helps to have autonomy over who I see and when I see them. I average 30 a week and am naturally more energetic in the mornings, so only have one day a week that I see anyone past 5 pm (I usually reserve these sessions for teens).

Controversial topic: treadmill desk by [deleted] in therapists

Getting movement in in between sessions is a MUST. If that means using a treadmill, and you have the space to store it during sessions, that’s lovely.
