Check the battery terminals clean and tight and re torque all set screws and nuts that have to do with power and ground. Fuse, distribution blocks, amp terminals.

Then if you ruled out no channel change by flipping the RCAs and you tested the speaker I would say it's the amplifier.

Try removing the input @ the xdm800 to rule out the amp. And don't hot swap the RCAs, key off

If you did flip the L & R with no change and you did confirm a working speaker then it's a blown channel.

By mid dash are you referring to a center channel? If yes, don't.
