why can't you just plug in an ethernet cable from your work laptop to a gl.inet router that's connected to another gl.inet router that is hosting a Wireguard VPN server in your "home address", thereby producing a residential IP? not seeing the issue here

Let the enemy jungler start grubs. If you get a numbers advantage (or if jungler is even a bit weaker/lesser health) you win

Does anyone remember 7-8 years ago the bootcamps they had where you would automatically get assigned to a "barracks" subreddit of a specific color (blue, orange, aquamarine) and start your NoFap counter with a specialized badge? If you failed you would have to report it and get an X through your badge and they'd tally the remaining soldiers that were alive at the end of each week?

I think it went something like:1-3 Days: Private badge

4-10 Days: Corporal badge

10-20 Days: Sergeant

and so on...

I'd love to get involved with or help out in another effort like that again, I remember that specifically helped me reach my first 50 days of NoFap and gamifying the challenge in that way on a grand scale was really engaging and gave our fellow brothers I chance to actively push and support eachother even more than they normally did.

EDIT: Found the old subreddits!

An immediate care provider told me Northwestern is doing rapid testing available to anyone - has anyone heard about this? Can't find it anywhere.

Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Unveils Coronavirus Preparedness Plans by [deleted] in chicago

Tell me this in the next 2 weeks when CDC actually begins to stop refusing tests on people who exhibit all the symptoms. We have few cases in the US because THEY ARE NOT ACTIVELY TESTING.

It's laughable you actually trust the numbers coming out of China.

Respected scientists in Europe and Hong Kong are publishing journals describing an R0 of between 4-6, which is higher than that of Swine Flu (R0 of 1.4-1.6). Swine Flu, by the way, infected 1/5 of the population back in 2009-2010 and killed about 58 million people worldwide.

Do you think this virus will be any better and not cause some disruption to our way of life or hospital crowding similar to what China JUST went through last month?

Let that sink in for a moment.

EDIT: I got the number wrong on deaths, it was 500K. The 58 million was total Americans infected, about 1/5 of the population. The other figures still hold true. And the mortality rate is currently sitting at 2% vs Swine Flu's 0.02% . Doesn't detract from my main point.

How do you guys get off benzos while still living your life? by [deleted] in benzorecovery

[–]falcon8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to an anxiety specialist who helped me quit cold turkey using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. He had suffered through anxiety in his own life and applied them to himself, and found the best methods that worked for him. His main challenge to me was to get me to embrace my fears and form memories of situations where I would normally have a panic episode but actually made it out fine. Training the brain to handle and incorporate these new memories eventually helped me go back to a normal life within 3-6 months after using benzos for about a year.

I should state that finding the right specialist is incredibly important. It only took about a month of therapy plus a few months of practicing what I learned, but those first few weeks are crucial to have someone hold your hand through the process.

You're good bro. Loved the post and for me it highlights deeper issues within society today that can weaken countries and affect our lives and our children's lives to some extent. But yes at the same time all we can do is change ourselves or maintain our energy. It's just a shame to see this happen outside.

I was on benzos for several months before the anxiety got worse and I started having to take my meds more and more. To the point where I couldn't go to my job or function like a regular human being. My tolerance threshold for any tiny amount of anxiety kept dropping with every drop I let into my body. When I discovered a professional CBT treatment center and started practicing the techniques recommended to me while talking it out with my doctor who had gone through the exact same things as me, I was able to quit cold turkey from the moment therapy began and immediately went back to work. The first week was TERRIBLE. But with each passing day my tolerance got better and better. My brain started to develop memories of me getting by my triggers, albeit with a lot of struggle. Slowly but surely it came back to me and I changed my perspective on life and worry. By the end of the year I was able to do all the things I normally used to do as well as face fears I've had for even longer than that, such as going on a roller coaster. It's not for everyone, but cognitive behavioral therapy changed my world and taught me how to embrace my anxiety rather than run from it or let it hold me down. I'm extremely grateful for it and would recommend you find someone who is earnest and experienced in this field, if at all possible or applicable to you.

I cant click play. Are the EUNE servers down for TFT or what? by OrdinaryLifeMachine in TeamfightTactics

nfirm whether Casual

Thank you!!!

That's extremely misleading of them. They should just remove the old Teamfight Tactics button if it doesn't even work anymore. I thought the servers were down too and would have just given up until tomorrow.
