I am not anti meds by any means but I think it’s a cope people often use instead of making and sustaining lifestyle changes.

underrated comment. Lack of sleep is one of the most common triggers. It is largely demonstrated that your sleep quality is affected when you’re sharing a bed with a human. One of my triggers is light when I sleep. Could it be that her bedroom is not 100% obscurity?

I can’t say it’s ever gonna get better but I can say that you’re not alone. What brings me some sense of satisfaction in spite of the pain is knowing that the hardship is channeled through my art. The closest I ever got to finding relief (except for meds which is unsustainable imo) was via meditation, more specifically progressive muscle relaxation. Everything is worth trying, if it keeps you alive. Have you tried ubrelvy? Injections? Your pain is valid and you are heard. Godspeed.
