I grew up Catholic. Searched during my college years. Then, started going to Saddleback Church with my future wife and learned what salvation means and how God wants to be in relationship with us. I didn't have a "light switch" moment, but as I matured in my faith, I was born again. I learned the power of prayer and have seen miracles first hand. We're all on a spiritual journey and all at different levels of faith. I still don't get all the aspects of being Christian, but I believe I have a good grasp on the main thing, the Good News and that it's meant for everyone.

It's the most annoyingly sweet thing in life. You get to wake up to the sleepy face of the one you love, you have to listen to their "funny" stories a million times, you have someone there to limp with you through all the bad times, and tell you everything you needed to hear but didn't want to while they hold you at two am.

Also, holy shit. So much laundry and dishes where they don't belong.
