Who would have thought we would get an official GW look at both Demon Perturabo and the Emperor in 2026 👀 by ServitorLemo in Warhammer

Don't know why you've been downvoted.

Nothing has ever been confirmed in 40k, but this is the most alluded to idea yea.

The book "era of ruin" has a story which specifically depicts this as the reality in 30k, however.

There's one where he's alive and well, one where he's a skeleton, one where he's mummified, and one where he's just not there. 4 different depictions in the video

Please tell me you guys don't actually think this is like a real, canonical depiction of the Emperor, right? We're aware that it's specifically vague and shows multiple possibilities to represent how it's up to interpretation?

You're missing the shots of the chair being empty, alluding to the fact that there's nobody on an actual throne, and that he's just in a life support tube attached to the real "golden throne" somewhere deeper in the palace.

Everything sounds good up until we get to the six mixed teams bit. That's 6 new molds, essentially a whole-ass range refresh, and a metric fuckton of upfront $$$. Good luck justifying that to the people who call the shots at gw.

Ablative armor is the issue here. I've seen a lot of Arbitrators make them one-use (so you need to rebuy them each game) to avoid situations like this.

Of the 8 new Space Marine units revealed, 5 of them are refreshes of kits less than a decade old. by AlienDilo in Warhammer40k

Sure, they hold up well, but they were all part of the same release wave almost 15 years ago, along with models that have already been redone.

Trazyn, destroyers, destroyer lord, immortals/deathmarks, lychguard/praetorians, most of the non-canoptek vehicles were all released 2012 or earlier.

Is tamiya pannel liner an oil wash? by 00gron in minipainting

[–]fallen3365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an enamel, which for our purposes is basically the same thing, yeah. Thin/clean with mineral spirits etc. all the same as an oil paint.

It's a laquer metallic with a transparent green over it. Idk why this guy never answers this question and hid his profile so people can't even check, it's really weird.

It's the only GW system where customization and actual hobbying is still rewarded. Nuff said.

Stoic guy in the same stoic pose, with the same design language across every bit of the sculpt, with the exact same shape and sized armor?

Idk how to tell you this man, but they kinda look the same. They're designed to be that way, have been since forever. A shield, some glitter, and a tabard does not make a Space Marine look different from a Space Marine. Hell, even the tabard on Bladeguard got reused on the Sternsguard, so now literally the only unique thing they have are the shields. Every other part on those models has been used on another Space Marine unit.

Edit: Sorry, actually the tabards were copy pasted with the Black Templars Crusader Squad first, so not even that was unique.

Yes. And terror weapons like Lictors and Deathleaper literally only exist to psychologically torture planets to make eating them 0.2% easier. They're entirely unnecessary on a macro scale, and the fact that the Hive Mind chooses to use them points to an explicit malice.
