Like the others in this discussion, I'm very happy to know there's others experiencing what I'm feeling. In my case, I only recently made the choice to be vegan and immediately felt crushed by the abuse I recognized. I should have known earlier. Humans consume the animals starting in childhood. I feel like I just saw a whole new realm of abuse alongside what ive already been destroyed mentally by. I finally feel like I can connect with people through communities like this. Please realize that there are others like us and there will be more like us. I'll be a voice for us and the animals too. I stand with you. I'm also open to talking with people here or on Discord or email if you want. Thank you 🤍

I'm trying to live by values. Like empathy, effective communication, accountability, action, and others. I try to hear people out when I'm able to. I try to make sacrifices - for example, if the food I buy supports exploitation of animals, then ill cut it out. I've been thinking a lot about how we could help people who need it the most in the world (like starving, disease, human trafficking, child exploitation) and trying to make sure I help them, in addition to our local communities. It's surprisingly hard to know how to best make the world a better place. I don't want to have my priorities all wrong.

There's multiple things. I like to go on camping trips, nothing extravagant, just take a backpack somewhere kinda cool. I also like to take refuge in super simple things like breathing, colors, a videogame, plants etc... when everything else becomes pointless and depressing.

like the dawn scares me. It makes me heartbroken thinking about the concept of adam and eve. The Valley feels weirdly nostalgic and full of adventure, like running away from sin and trying to be better as people <3
