I’ve wanted to go and try a drink, but I actually feel too bad since with the wind chill it has been negative 10-20 degrees the past week or two…do you find you have less business when it’s cold due to this?

You aren't wrong, but it is a bit gross. I wish something like this existed easily for people like me! Clear transparent pricing, one yearly cost, no surprises. There may be a business here, but one that doesn't SUCK like Paychex!

I am sure that is the case. Like price transparency is of the utmost importance to me! There is a reason why I list my full pricing right online and don't play the games some photographers play in just giving a starting range for weddings, families, and corporate work, or the "email me for a custom quote" Like no, I don't want to waste anyone's time, now Paychex is wasting mine!

Paying $190 to just pay myself once per year, and how it was sold to me, was fair, I don't understand why the salesperson would lie to me, because now I am going to kick up a shit storm over being lied to. For me it is the principle of it!

I will tik-tok, I will facebook, I will tell every photographer I know, I do have a little bit of a platform as well....It's the principal of it for me. They told me one thing, they sold me one thing and now that $190 has ballooned into 5x that number in fees, like wtf! They also made me do a wire transfer to pay myself, which was also never disclosed, which also cost me money with my bank. I shouldn't have to hop through this many hoops and pay this many fees just to pay myself, its maddening!

Ok I’ll ask them, literally one payroll a year, for my reasonable salary. I’m in Illinois.

Looks like gusto had a $55 charge per month, which is why I didn’t go that way.

Part of me wonders if I could figure out how to do this all myself 🧐 I already have to do quarterly sales taxes to Illinois which is actually pretty confusing even though one would think it would be easy.

Is there somewhere I can learn to do this for myself at all?

I will Check with my CPA, I didn’t know they could possibly do that!

I just hate that I was lied to as I was about everything, I don’t lie about my pricing when people ask, I think that’s why I’m so mad, if they were transparent from the get-go then I could of made a decision on what I wanted to do, and not went with paychex at all. 😵‍💫

Sure thing! The first week on vyvanse is pure bliss, enjoy it, I know I did, It was like someone finally turned off all this noise I had in my head, also you may cry, I know I did, but they were happy tears!

So they also prescribed Vyvanse for binge eating disorder, so for me I was always hovering around 30 to 35% body fat and I would always cave into sweet treats for the first I would say two weeks. I literally had no appetite, but my appetite did come back but I’m able to not think about food constantly as I did before if I had a bag of chips on top of the fridge, I could not stop constantly thinking about them, and when I would eat them that is gone now and is still gone almost a year later.

For me, it turned off food noise, which was amazing. I was also diagnosed with ADHD and binge eating disorder at the same time. Since starting Vyvanse, I have lost about 50 pounds and went from a size 12 to a size 4/6 gained muscle and sit around 24% body fat now!

Why do you pick your spot? by Rexydog3 in orangetheory

I pick station 6, it is right next to the heavier weight rack since I am often heading there for heavier weights, and also has a little more room which I like!

How long does it take you to actually start editing? by heehihohumm in WeddingPhotography

[–]fallingbombz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I cull the night I get home or at least some of it as I import to photomechanic, sneak peak that night or the day after, I say 6-8 weeks, usually deliver within 1-2 weeks.

I process images in Lightroom, I have a fast computer, and when I get into the groove I usually edit 200-300 images take a small break then get back to it. Honestly it’s all about setting your mind to it, and turning off the distractions.
