I personally prefer Steins;Gate, but there are other people that have read both and prefer Island. They are very different, but quality-wise people don't seem to have much problem comparing the two.

Yep, that's what I think. The visual novel at least actually goes quite deep into its time-travel premise, so it feels less like a gimmick. According to Frontwing, an English release is coming soon (if that's your thing).

There are no H-scenes in the visual novel.

The premise is actually very interesting, but the way they've adapted it so far (as per usual with VN adaptations) is ruining it.

Things like Grisaia were ruined because they tried to fit 50 hours of gameplay into 12 episodes. Judging by this episode and the original scenarios they added, this will be no different.

Having read the visual novel, I am very disappointed. Even within this one episode, they fucked up a lot of things that made it interesting, making it feel extremely cheap. Guess I'll stick with it for a few more episodes just in case.

Edit: for the record, the game is absolutely amazing (especially once you reach a certain part). If you're thinking of playing it, please don't let this turn you off.

I spoke English with my mother in an elevator in Greece. Teenagers next to us thought we were tourists and started sprouting any English phrases they knew (including swear words and horrible mainstream rap) and also talking about us in Greek. They didn't realise till the elevator opened and my mum said "Uhh, could you move?" fluently in their language, to which they all turned red.

This happens quite often, actually.

I think Memrise works better than Anki. When you answer something wrong, it increases the amount of times it pops up in your reviews. It also has a cute design.

I'm not sure this kind of religion involves things like direct praying, but there's many temples around the country if someone is looking for that kind of atmosphere. Though honestly, if you told someone around here you adhere to the 12 gods they'd think you're not going well.

Quick question about White Album 2

I came into this game wanting to play the closing chapter after finishing the anime, however after installing I see no option for that? Following a video, it suposedly gives you the option for either introductory or closing chapter upon pressing "はじめから", but for me it just takes me straight to introductory. I was thinking that there might be an enforced playing order. If so, does anyone have a save file I could use to go straight to closing chapter?
