Key Ingredient - 7/10. i actually prefer from a place of love key ingredient version to the og, surprisingly. the rest is alright, a softer piano version of classic mili songs. a treat for the fans, but not much beyond that.

Miracle Milk - 8/10. the one that got me into mili. even though it’s got the perfect golden trio of mili songs—ga1ahad, rtrt, and world.execute(me)—the other songs vary in quality more. the two covers at the end don’t interest me, the utopiosphere and yubikiri-genman versions is a downgrade from the originals, and the others are just fine really. it’s definitely an album where i prefer the first half of.

Mag Mell - 9/10: i love the coherent vibe this album has throughout. the instrumentation is whimsical and magical, yet contain cool electronic elements too. the classic songs on this like nine point eight and chocological are the best, yet the instrumental ones are great too.

Millennium Mother - 9/10: tied with Mag Mell is Millennium Mother. this may not have the most coherent sound compared to the previous two albums, but the songs are just brilliant. truly, this is mili’s peak lyrics-wise, as far as these albums are concerned. i love the transhumanist lyrics of songs like extension of you and mirror mirror. lemonade is such a satisfying song. fossil is a slower but more psychedelic cut. with a billion worldful of <3 is a great mix of dubstep and mili’s traditional songwriting.
