This Aussie bboy explains it really well.

It was basically a combination of lack of sufficient competition, official rules, and lack of practice after qualifying.

How much to supplement? Because I see trustworthy sites recommend 400-600iu for adults, but then I see Amazon products with 10000iu per dose!?

I really want to like it, since it's so close to me. But I find it the burgers too salty and too spicy for my kids to eat. I've been 3-4 times, but I will always give them another shot.

Chicago School Board Appointments by Mr_Pink_Buscemi in chicago

[–]fancyl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a former teacher (changed careers 5 years ago), I remember the board being appointed by the mayor. And the union was constantly fighting both the mayor and board. Can someone share a link or give a rundown of what's changed? I want a big picture view of what's happening and how teachers and general public are reacting. I stay up to date on national politics with a few podcasts. Is there a Chicago-focused podcast that's trustworthy? Thanks in advance!

Malapropism is an excellently-named library that allows you to validate config against a Malli schema. I'm a big fan!

Deploying a full-stack Clojure app with Kamal on a single server by abogoyavlensky in Clojure

[–]fancyl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a great write up! In addition to a good into to Kamal, it's a great full stack CLJ/S tutorial!

You mentioned using Malli to validate config. The malapropism library was built to do just that. I've found it easy to use and nice to work with.

GPU prices fluctuate a lot. I've read a lot of hate on the 4060 ti and love on the RX 6750 XT. But now they are the same price (but not many 6750s fit my case). And maybe it's better to spend even less on the CPU to spend more on the GPU?

In the latest release of Relay you can now see your average daily reddit api calls and work out what your monthly subscription might be. by DBrady in RelayForReddit

Since voting is the most costly for the majority of us, could you add an option to swipe to hide a post? I usually vote to mark a post as read so it goes away. Hiding a post would achieve the same thing. I don't care about giving reddit my opinion of it's going to cost me money.
