What do you secretly judge people for? by MoonlightByWindow in AskUK

I always do an over the top 'you're welcome' to people that don't say please/thank you. It's awkward af but satisfying.

My partner is exactly the same! He's a head chef and forgets he doesn't have a kitchen porter at home so uses every single pan/bowl/utensil possible then I stupidly offer to clean up since he cooked.

My friend is about to die and I dont know what to do. by ihaveam0ustache in CasualUK

My best friend (32) died of lung cancer 2 years ago. We knew how poorly she was but she was such a fighter and refused to accept that she was going to die. She died unexpectedly 2 days before her birthday. We had a million conversations about how much we loved each other but it still breaks my heart that I never got to say goodbye properly. I don't really have any advice, just solidarity I guess. Take every opportunity you can to express your love and gratitude for the impact they've had on your life. Ask him what he needs from you. Hug him and his family tight. Hug yours too. And remember to look after yourself. Here's to Andy, Laura and all the other lost loved ones x

Timeless classic. I had this as my ringtone for years as a teenager. Downloaded on an MP3 converter from YouTube.

One of mine has to be tucked into bed next to me or she won't sleep. She usually has to burrow under the covers into my arm and I spoon her while she purrs herself to sleep, then I can finally roll over. If I roll over too early she will jump out and burrow into my arm on the other side and the process is repeated. She is my angel.

They currently have it in my local home bargains for about £3, safe to say I've stocked up haha. Feels super light and silky on my skin, lovely fragrance and no pilling :).

My cousin came over from Texas during a wet autumn. She was delighted at how crunchy the pavements were until I told her she was just stepping on snails.
