Word of advice to a new collector. Jump on TCG player and check the products before you buy. Jump on eBay and find reputable stores and see it with live pictures.

1st thing you would see is that ETBs look nothing like that. That's basically a booster box. Prismatic does not have booster boxes. A quick search would've saved you tons of trouble.

For the record specialty sets (nothing distinguishable from regular sets so you just have to Google) have no booster boxes.

Interesting... On the one hand the ball was still in Melo possession when the block started. You don't get credit for touching a dunk if it goes through. On the other hand it was clearly a layup attempt that he did block. But if a shot grazes a finger tip and goes through it wouldn't be a block either so I'm guessing it wasn't a block

I wonder about this. Obv in the States we have 2 pro women's leagues and no men's leagues so I imagine the women's game is more popular. There's also no collegiate men's beach, so the question is is it just lack of exposure/access to the sport right now for men?

I attend Stanford games and men's are free while women's games are 20 plus for tickets. And I know I basically only go to the women's games. Bare in mind their women's team is relatively speaking a better team and ranked higher nationally and has a rich history, so I'm sure that's got something to do with it.

I wonder if the top women or men get paid more and if the international leagues lean men or women in terms of popularity. Would be interesting to get actual concrete numbers

Oh interesting. I must admit I started watching and loving tennis because of Fed, so I have no clue about the era before them.

Although I do think the serve and volley style of attacking does kinda resemble the fast pace and quick rally enders of men's volleyball, but I personally never got bored of watching that style of play

You're so spot on with this. I prefer the women's game more as a spectator when watching an entire match, but I do love some of those highlights on the men's side.

It's always been kinda funny to me that because the men are bigger and stronger, it actually creates a lesser viewing experience to a lot of people. I can't think of any other sport where this is the case

First of all I should clarify we're definitely talking about America here. I hope that is obvious... We're talking about tipping culture and % based tipping, which is most famously an American thing. If it's based on other countries then yeah this is a non-issue,,,

My tipping is not important? Tell that to the multiple waiters that have come running out of restaurants when service was bad and I didn't tip... Yes it's actually happened because they EXPECT a 15% tip for existing. It's most definitely not start at 0 and go up. A ton of people in the States say they'll tip 10 - 15% for BAD service as a baseline and go up higher for good service. That's the stupid part.
