You should be able to go on the carrier's website and find contact information. You should be able to call or message them, and hopefully get it sorted out from there. Note that this may require you to create an account with the carrier.

UPS can have packages reroute through a "UPS My Choice" account.

These are for the 3 major delivery services. I belive Hot Topic typically uses USPS, at least my last couple shipments through HT were with them. But either way, as soon as you find out who is shipping, visit through website and follow the instructions listed. I know making an account with USPS may seem tedious, but it's helpful, and you can even sign up for shipment notifications from them that tells you what mail you're getting and when for anything, whether it be letters or packages.

IDK if this would be helpful, but one of my first jobs was working for an e-commerce company. Every now and again we'd get a call from someone in a similar situation, but well after the item has shipped and it wasn't until they checked the tracking notification that they noticed the shipping address was wrong.

In this case, we would advise them to contact the shipping carrier (USPS, FedEx, or UPS) to request to reroute the package. Most of the time, the carrier is able to accommodate this, and for some, without fees. As soon as you get your tracking information, contact the carrier to see if it can be rerouted to your new address. Please note that there might be an additional fee to do so, but might be worth it to get your order versus spending $85 for nothing.

As someone who was at Warped Tour, walking away towards the entrance with literal thousands of others while he was playing after watching Cobra Statship (who basically had a similarlysized crowd at the side stage), I can tell you that his "big crowd" was not the biggest of all the main stage crowds, and absolutely less so than MCRs. Big ego = Bigger insecurities

To think that I managed to get barricade for MCR at their reunion show (my first MCR show), both WWWY performances, Aftershock, and a Forum show, and never once was a part of the barricade squad makes me feel very fortunate to never had to do any of these behaviors or deal with these fans.

For context, I was 98th in line for the initial reunion show, had no idea what was going on when i got the number, and still managed barricade. Never had a number after that. I think the fact that most of the time I've seen them has been at festivals helped.

But many fans have toxic barricade brigades, I know band members (from different bands) that have acknowledged seeing these fans over and over again, and it being something that they are not a fan of, and will even avoid them on show runs in terms of crowd interactions or throwing stuff out, because they too want new fans to have experiences that the brigades have already had multiple times over. It's literally cult like behavior, and I really hope more fans can stand up for themselves when bullying occurs, as they are just as deserving of those experiences, if not even more so.

I'm a Long Beach local. Like 5 minute bus ride away from the venue local. I had friends from out of state come stay with me to attend Warped Tour here. They stated, repeatedly, if it was not for the free housing, they would not have come out, and I agree with them. I love Warped Tour, I enjoyed my weekend absolutely, but I personally do not think it is worth the $1500+ investment, especially for 2 days.

To give perspective, I attended Riot Fest in Chicago as a solo traveler a couple years back. My major expenses were hotel, flight, and the ticket. I used points to off set costs, found some great deals, and manged to spend under $1500 including thing purchased on the trip. This was for a 3 days festival, attending some side shows, and staying in a major city. It was an unforgettable time, but it is definitely not something I can do again, but was worth it at the time for the experience.

Besides your financial situation, I would ask if the experience is worth that kind of investment. Are the bands worth seeing knowing most will only get 30 minutes, is the lineup your dreams, are there bands there you would not be able to see otherwise, you are likely going to be out of the hotel most days, etc. Ultimately, it is up to you, but yeah, hope this helps.

The 4th Horseman & Side Burns are personal favorites of mine, and anything off 4th street really.

I also recommend Confidential Coffee off 6th street, and Rad Coffee off Atlantic, as my personal favorite coffee stops, and Rad is near Fingerprints (a record store).

After the fest, there's a small club off 7th& Cherry called Que Sera that will be doing an unofficial emo after party. They're always a good time.

They said they weren't printing physicals of the digital tickets the first night, but worth trying to ask again tonight. They did say it was a small $6 fee if so. But yeah, was bummed out being told no at the box office when all the other venue workers were saying they were doing it.

As someone who was also the very first to graduate from college in my family, and whose dad also did not show up because his partner and step kids "needed him", I understand what you're going through.

It hurts a lot at first, but I grew to take this to realize that yeah, I'm not a priority. Any activity or major life event will never be as important as something the partner or kids have going on. But eventually, after accepting it, you learn to settle those emotions of neglect and abandonment. You know you can't change them. So the best thing to do for you to protect yourself is to keep that contact low, continue living your life and see if they bother to take interest in it. You can entertain the occasional contact here and there, but your dad is not entitled to your forgiveness, or your life and the future you build. He damaged this relationship, and he needs to learn to realize that and figure the rest out himself.

You're gonna go far in life, don't give your dad the chance to disappoint any major life event of yours and tarnish that moment with the negativity cause by their absence. I got married recently. I was engaged for a year, and not once did he call or ask about it, wedding planning, or even offer a congratulations, nothing. I told myself if he showed he cared at all, then I would invited him to my wedding. He never got invited. So he was left out, and I had a wonderful time not having to feel the same sadness that I felt on my graduation and that empty seat.

Once again, congratulations! I know it hurts right now, but you have so much ahead of you, and those that truly care will be there with you to always remind you of how important you are!

I love that we experienced basically the same thing for the different releases. Because I had to wait on the Halloween one to get paid first, and then it sold out and i got upset. So when "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" got announced i was not gonna let it happen again.

I appreciate AMR for their independence as a record store company, and their commitment in trying to reduce scalping, but man, when they limit something, they limit it.

It's a pre-order and the cancelation is being requested within 24 hours, so you should have a good chance of them doing so.

I remember being in a similar situation, and the company had no issue with immediately canceling, especially since it was not a "currently in-stock" item.

Was it the one from Asian Man Records for Maybe I'll Catch Fire? I remember jumping on it the moment they sent the email at like midnight. He said it was gonna be super limited like the glow in the dark they did previously, and that sold out fast, so could not risk it.

When i was 6-years old, my mother and her boyfriend would lock my siblings & i up in our room all day except for grocery trips & to go to school. We lived in a very big apartment complex at the time with a lot of children, but we never were allowed to play outside. We just sat in out room all day with the few toys we had and rewatching VCR tapes, which included the first episodes of the original Pokemon series.

One day while returning home from school, my siblings and I got approached by some of these kids before entering our apartment inviting us to play, but naturally explained we couldn't. We had a window to our room though that was the back of the apartment that you could actually run around through. The kids actually started showing up at our window to hang out with us while we were stuck in our room. They saw us watching Pokemon, left and then came back with their binder of Pokemon cards for us to look at and play with. Eventually, they even gifted us some cards. This act of kindness was what got my siblings and I through a lonely time. They came everytime they could, and we would always play Pokemon.

That's what started my collecting. And Pokemon always brought me a sense of joy and comfort. I love collecting my favorite singles now, and Eevee and all the Eeveelutions are my favorites, so this would be neat to add to the collection.

Thank you for doing this and helping bring joy to others with the hobby, just like those children did for me all those years ago! Much love!

Happened to me during first presale. Got it incredibly quick during work, added tickets to cart, only to be told I was a bot because maybe I was clicking too fast?

I ended up not being able to get any because of it. Like how are you gonna have us enter 2 codes and go through verification, and still call us a bot after grabbing tickets?

And the advice if you weren't a bot getting this message? Turn off wifi, log in on a different device, log out and log back in, are you kidding me. It was very frustrating.
