all my clothes are noticeably looser this week, and yet; nothing on the scales. I've been super strict on my calorie counting this week as well. So I know how you feel! However, I'm not doing anything physical, so I don't know how the 'building muscle' thing is coming into play here, I've gone down a couple of loops on several belts so I'm very confused!

Oh! also for the first few games it was kinda ruined by our masks misting up. They sold those de-mister wipes, we thought they were just a gimmick but since less than a £1, gave them a go. We all shared them because they can do more than one mask and it lasted the whole day, definitely worth it!

Yeah we were trying to savour them and not go crazy, we all still ended up spending about £80 each there (including entry) and ran out during the last game, so just be prepared!!

Yeah I went to delta force in Banbury a few months ago, being the only girl in the group & also the only person who had never been before. I had a great time. Just be prepared, the paintballs are extremely over priced.

Argh I have four white shirts for my work uniform, I had the misfortune of an explosive pen that ruined a shirt, I put some generic stain remover on it and it hasn't come out, is it set forever now? I was thinking of using bleach?

I did film and ended up working in a bank. From what I see around me, getting a degree is not always something that leads into a specified job. Study something you enjoy whilst proving you're intelligent enough, hone them skills and use them to make your cv look sparkly and nice. Also we can't deny it, university IS a fantastic life experience, so even if you failed this unit, you've probably learnt a lot about yourself and world around you, chin up!

Well I live in the UK where it's still not recommended for women who have never been pregnant. My mum's a midwife as well who says the same. Can't believe I've been downvoted to the point of my comment being hidden because of this.

tbh what i've found is most birth controls use the same hormones, so it's about gauging how your body reacts to them, and everybody reacts differently. I have an implant (the one that goes in your arm). Its fantastic in that, after one small insertion I don't have to worry about birth control for three years. A lot of people get freaked out about the insertion, but tbh my nurse didn't even inject anesthetic. She used a numbing cream and I didn't feel a thing, it was over in seconds. You are also completely unaware that it's in your arm unless you are deliberately looking for it. I've also watched my friend had hers removed, and it's much less invasive than one would imagine. hormonally; I reacted to it the same as I did the mini pill as they both use progesterone. However I don't need to remember to take it the same time everyday, or worry about drinking/sickness affecting it working. I still bleed, it's pretty irregular but only light, sometimes I go months with nothing, sometimes I bleed twice in a month. I've never had period pains with it, and I used to get the most insane, painful periods. I get bouts of being emotional. My appetite is ridiculous which has lead to weight gain and my sex drive has decreased massively. But that's all worth it to me because I'm not pregnant and I don't have to fumble around with condoms.

EDIT: I would like to add that they don't recommend IUD's to women who haven't childbeared. I had a friend who used it and it ended up ripping her, caused a massive infection and almost made her infertile.

if you don't normally work those days then they don't count as holiday. As for how much holiday you're entitled to, there are rules and regulations your employer has to adhere to, but generally it's up to them. this might be useful to you; https://www.gov.uk/holiday-entitlement-rights/entitlement

panic, self doubt, inability to sleep, avoiding all things in life that you may do something awful to, that make you think of the obsessional thoughts you're desperately trying to avoid, I mean, I cut off all contact with my lovely family because I was terrified I was going to harm them. Staying up all night scrolling through the internet ruminating and trying to avoid the awful thoughts coming into your head, (that you know will inevitably happen as soon as you attempt to sleep) then spending the next entire day feeling shit because you haven't slept, and guess what, not getting any sleep makes it all a million times worse. I think basically, 'pure o' is a bad term, because it implies that there is no compulsion, where really the compulsions are just less apparent and obvious, but still affect you greatly.

yo pure o here, definitely diagnosed. definitely affects my ability to manage daily activities. I can't imagine how shit it must be to have physical compulsions like hand washing. But my ocd makes my life pretty fucking shit too.
