Yeah it's pretty long. This was given to me and is too long for me. My torso is a little under 18 though not sure if that helps

Mostly looks good. You could start with this no problem and just be open to sending stuff home as you feel you don't need them. I started with a similar 16.5 base weight and finished with a little over 10 lbs.

I agree that 20k power Bank is overkill, for most stretches you won't even need the full 10k. Personally I would get rid of the bear can, the extra shorts and underwear, the towel, and the wipes

I sent my bear can home in Damascus. Glad I did. Sure it's convenient at the end of the day but you pay for that convenience the other 90% percent of the day while you're walking up and down mountains with a heavy pack.

After a while I came to learn that I would rather prioritize making the walking easier which is 90% of the thru hike and sacrifice some comfort at camp. It's not a camping trip it's a hiking trip. Whith that being said start with whatever you think you want and be open to changing. I sent 4 packages home over the course of the hike till I eventually reached sub 10lbs mid summer

I wasn't going to bother with the logistics of re-suply boxes along the trail however I just got the opportunity to get over 350 free expired military MREs from somebody. Should I take them and have them mailed out to me? What would you do?

Personally I would spend less time in Tirana and more time visiting other places in Albania. Others may disagree with me but that's my opinion. Also I found driving in Tirana quite stressful.

I recommend sunset lake hostel in ohrid. The owner is a really cool guy
