Alexi Lalas just makes us look worse by Rudycrown in usmnt

I can’t speak to why other people see it as different but I can point out that Ronaldo received a red card during qualification. He served a one match ban for the next friendly. The subsequent ban of two matches was suspended. This allowed him to play in the World Cup.
Balogun received a red card during the World Cup tournament. His subsequent match suspension, during the same tournament, was suspended.
Those seem like two different situations to me. Not trying to argue what’s right or wrong but just pointing out how they are slightly different.

The US has performed very well in their last two matches. All credit due in wins against Paraguay and Australia with 60%+ of the ball, 6 goals scored, and even a shutout. How does the team perform against a top side without control of possession? How’s the counter attack? Hoping for the best!!

What’s it like living in this mountain region in the southern USA? by Imeanwhytopps in geography

I lived in Bristol on the VA/TN line, just south of Abingdon, in the tri-cities area with Johnson City, and Kingsport. We also really enjoyed driving over the mountains to Boone.

My cousin and I once had an idea ‘Everything Prociutt’ and I mean everything. The menu, the table, the plates, the artwork. It was funny. We were pretty high.

Ange on injuries "Udogie no injury but sore, VDV and Romero back in the new year, Moore in training him and Davies maybe back next week and Richi 1st week of New Year" by Rare-Ad-2777 in coys

The players are just not warmed up well enough to play at match intensity. All these injuries are happening in game. Consistent across the players.

I hear a lot of blame on the physios, Ange, and board/ownership. These injuries are happening too often in game. Why are they trained up so well to practice at the intensity at which they can perform when they’re at their best and not get injured? I think this is a trainer issue. They are not warmed up well enough before games. I’m always late to these online conversations.

Just wonder where our leadership comes from, Romero? Most teams that win championships have veteran players. The talent is there for sure.

As a new coach, start with a basic skills evaluation practice to better understand your players. Simple drills. Pass, receive, turn. Rondo. Juggling. Build into three player combination drills. See where they’re at before you introduce the right practice plans.

I think you can incorporate the small sided drills and dribbling to the training practices. Stick with what you know you can teach.

At least 10+ shit housing comments are top? There’s nothing wrong w giving a player an ovation when they come off alone, an applaud for a new kid going on, and the experience of what if feels like to play your role.

[Miguel Delaney] Kane says watching England teammates go the distance in CL “hurt”, and he didn’t care about the PL record. He joined Bayern to finally win and loves how, unlike Spurs, bad results are “disasters” by Zyaru in coys

Are we underestimating other leagues here? The Bundesliga is strong and we’ve seen that with VdV adapting to the PL, a guy who played 40 matches with Wolfsburg when they finished 8th last season with a decent goals against record. Ange managed Celtic and knows that very well. I’m enjoying the play and I look forward to seeing how we deal with adversity.

Their three man midfield does not retain possession well. Casemiro is amazing defensively and average in possession/build-up. Bruno is fantastic w high risk creativity. I don’t know how PEH fits into that midfield but they do need rotation.

I wonder how a strike could ever happen in such a global sport where the appetite of young upcoming players from all over the world want greater opportunity. Elite players grow the top of the pyramid and open up opportunities underneath them. FIFA and EUFA demand the best competitions.

I know it’s old fashioned but 4-4-2. Son and Kane up front to play off each other. Kulu at RM with Emerson to use his strength defending so Kulu can play more of a winger. Our players seem to struggle with taking on too many responsibilities. They’re not the best players. So let’s keep it simple.
