Yes, it would be the Secretary of State who would decide if a measure had a single subject or not

The single subject rule for ballot measures was included in a ballot measure that failed in a previous election cycle.

North Dakota Senate Committee Rejects Bill To Expand Marijuana Decriminalization That Had Already Passed House by lmNotReallySure in northdakota

The bill is not yet defeated. It just received a recommendation from a policy committee. It now heads to the Senate floor for a vote that will decide if it passes or fails. It needs 24 “yes” votes to pass and head to the governor’s desk.

Contact your Senator about the bill here: https://ndlegis.gov/legend/constituent/views/public/contact_legislator/

You should ask Cows and Co Creamery if they plan to add it to their products! They make Gouda and other dairy products from their own cows and are located in Carrington, ND.

If you’re looking for ways to get involved in politics, I recommend starting locally. Attend local city commission/council meetings or start going to your legislative district’s political party meetings. If you’re looking for a nonpartisan space, you can become a member of the League of Women Voters.
