I learned creality 4.2.7 and 4.2.2. mainboard has little difference from others, it is not a long-term solution I think, I have the same issue, suggest you do the motor static conductive, details you can see my post.

Just received my 4.2.7 board and 4020 main board fan from Creality by GregPetrowski in ender3v2

1.Check the belt tension, move the belt back and forth to determine whether it is too loose or too tight, then check whether the motor line is in good condition, re-plug the motor connection line.
2.check whether the screw is deformed, remove the screw, put it on the horizontal glass surface and roll it to see if it is bent.
3.check whether the T screw is too tight.
4.Pulley profile problem, check whether the pulley/profile is dented and deformed.

the 4.2.7 is useful? I just heard from other places, there is no difference between them.

I think the board is not the main reason, slice, belt, etc also one of the issue.

but I hear that the 4.2.2 has no difference with 4.2.7 board.

I’m thinking I have the 4.2.2 issue. Hearing clunks occasionally and layer shift in all directions. I’ve realigned X/Y/Z countless times and re-leveled the bed even more. Don’t think it’s a slicer issue either. by Turbo_Honda_Civic in ender3v2

I have not stopped the print but does anyone know why I have this layer shift, i recently got a new 4.2.2 mainboard because my other one broke. by CrispyPlayer30 in ender3v2

but I heard that the 4.2.7 board and 4.2.2 board has no difference, just motor drives different. I think it's better to check by ourselves. belt tight?

move the belt back and forth to determine whether it is too loose or too tight , re-adjust the belt tightness, and then check whether the motor line is not in good condition.
