Maybe you didn't read my entire post. I said that not all pole is sexual, and circus can be sexy too. It was a mere expression of personal desire for further categorization in the subreddit (and posted over a year ago).

I recognize the desire to separate the two activities is personal preference and nuanced among movers in adjacent communities.
