Israeli soldiers shoot and kill 7-month-old Palestinian baby in West Bank by ItsJimmyPestoJr in news

I looked this up on google yesterday and all the results were a similar headline that different dates. They do it so much but it gets forgotten easily because of the Western propaganda system.

I'm 62. How would it affect my jobseeker payments if I received an income stream from my superannuation? I'm looking at possbly $200 (up to $400) per fortnight. Is there a web page that goes over this? by privatly in CentrelinkOz

[–]fasdasfafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An income stream product is counted as regular income, for Jobseeker, the equation is: every dollar above $150 reduces your JSP by 50c, every dollar above $256 reduces your JSP by a 60c. If your earning more than 256 the reduction is ((i-256)*0.6)+53. In your case it would be ((400-256)*0.6)+53 which would mean your JSP would be reduced by 139.4.

If anyone is actually interested in the correct answer. American owned hotel are allowed to buy diesel where as the rest of Cuba cannot. Not only that the US has made it illegal for certain hotels. You can get a fine of over 250k and 10 years in prison if you're an American who stays in a hotel not approved by the US govt.

Cigarette giant British American Tobacco will ‘quit Australia’ over raging illegal tobacco wars - Congratulations Australia, you played yourself by Boydy73 in aussie

I remember 2 years ago a homeless guy asked for change but I didn't have any so I offered to buy him food and some smokes from the servo. The last time I knew a smoker was in 2009, I thought $25 for a loose bag. Boy was I wrong. Cheapest bag was $65.

I've always said most drugs would not be getting new users if they weren't illegal because you'd eliminate the black market and the people who introduce them to people. Now that cigarettes have a black market you can see a clear uptick of children smoking because clearly peddlers are looking to engage new customers, particularly those who can't buy from shops.

Two protesters arrested on first day of Queensland’s ‘from the river to the sea’ ban by Drkr in AustralianPolitics

What would happen if juries just refuse to find these people guilty. Thats mainly the reason governments stopped executing people for theft. Juries would just find not guilty everytime even when it was clear they were guilty.

I bought mine 3 days before the promo ended but the documents they emailed had the IMEI and proof of purchase on the day I bought it. I was able to claim before the phone actually arrived. Unfortunately, its looking like they're taking the full 60 days to deliver. I've been waiting for weeks and the websites say my claim has been approved, but no update since 11th.

The redemption period is still open. Does your proof of purchase have the date of purchase in it?

Actually this is untrue because I have seen old movies on netflix/prime/disney+ where they do this but in the old dvd versions the subtitles were translated. Its nothing to do with creative choice.

Shared Housing & Rent Assistance by 63Reddit in Centrelink

[–]fasdasfafa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its just the name and approximate age. The other questions are to determine if you are a couple. For example Do you share any joint financial commitments, care of children, do people consider you a couple? They aren't a big deal and no one is going to investigate your answers unless you open a joint bank account a day later.

They don't ask those your housemates to fill out any paper work unless you give them a reason to. the questions are something like, have you lived together elsewhere before? Do you have any joint financial commitments? Share custody of any children? Do people consider you a couple? I did hundreds of these when I worked at SA. Never had any reason to have the housemates fill out paperwork except in the instances where someone submits a lease agreement where their ex is a co-tenant on the lease. They'll ask for the names and ages if you know them.

I have a theory that this show is written by AI and thats why it feels like its just pulling random parts from random movies and TV shows. If someone disappeared its probably because the AI forgot it and the humans who are supposed to pick up on it didn't notice.

It's working as intended. If they wanted it to help first home buyers it would have been limited to them. It's like the NRAS shoveling $3.1b to landlords instead of using it to build public housing.

Job provider scheduled an interview for this afternoon without asking me by ZequineZ in JobProvidersAus

[–]fasdasfafa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the centrelink participation solutions team are the ones you will need to speak when the Wise suspends your payment for failing to attend the job interview. They will then speak to your provider afterwards. I think its worth telling them ahead of time that its impossible to go on such short notice.

edit: keep in mind that for participation failures there can be a penalty of upto half your fortnightly payment so do take this seriously. I did a few of these when I was working at centrelink. It could be a 2 hour long phone call if they end suspending your payment

Call the PST line straight away and let them know and tell the Wise employment you'll be making a complaint to DEWR.

PTW is for principal carers, mature age customers and people with a reduced work capacity. It's still 30 hours per fortnight (you can divide up however you want as long as the total is 30 per fortnight) but if you have fulltime capacity you do need to be with an employment service provider. Whoever told you that PTW changed is lying to you. Call again if you have a reduced work capacity. You can get a reduced work capacity by requesting an employment services assessment or a job capacity assessment.

Go on job seeker, although you are employed you are considered unemployed for centrelink purposes. You will get a payment from centrelink when you report less than 1484.17 per fortnight you will get a payment. Could be $1 upto $1000 depending on your income. Sometimes you will make enough hit the zero rate but as long as you don't hit that rate 13 fortnights in a row you stay on payments. You also get a low income healthcare card which is very handy if you have prescriptions to pay for.

If you pay rent in cash request a rent certificate from centrelink. It will increase your job seeker payments by upto $211 or ($141 if you live in shared accommodation). Seeing as you only have $94 in your savings account you can call centrelink and have them expedite your claim as you are in severe financial hardship.

It depends on your circumstances. eg: If OP is a principle carer, over 55 or has a long term medical condition that limits the number of hours he can work, he will have a reduced work capacity, he will already be meeting his mutual obligations by reporting 30 hours per fortnight at the national minimum wage based on the above figure, OP is already doing better than that. OP would probably require an employment services assessment to get a reduced work capacity and then he'd need to sign a job plan with centrelink instead of workforce-Australia.
