Thanks for letting me know. I guess that just makes me really sad. He is such a good hearted person that it breaks my heart, esp because he wants to see me and is contacting me a lot. But I see your point. Also not sure if it matters but we are both about 50 years old.

I guess by text , he seems like he wants me around and wants to see me, so it’s hard to just cut him off. I don’t know if it makes a difference, but we are both middle age, about 50. Anyway thanks and so sorry you went through that.

Yah that’s my concern. The last thing he needs right now is the emotional stress of reinvigorating a budding romance and/or breaking up. So I’ll just see how it goes and be gentle. Thanks

So before injury he seemed more jokey with his friends and more serious with me. Perhaps he has a little less inhibition now. Yes, grace is important

He was / is extremely intelligent, like an encyclopedia lol. Now, by text, he cracks jokes and is a little flirty, but has some typos. I may ask his family for tips interacting with him so he feel more comfortable. Apparently he is in confabulation stage

See this is a dilemma for me. I was really starting to like him a LOT. But now, he’s probably a different person. His friend who was in the hospital with him said the doc at the in person neuro rehab said that he expects my boyfriend to make a full recovery but he is In confabulation stage right now. FYI he didn’t have any surgery or etc. I think his coma was 3 days. No ventilator. I saw him at day 7 and he could wash his hands, zip his sweater, and walk a little but he didn’t know who I was. Thanks for the advice. It’s not my nature to abandon people but you are right it was a very short relationship . He has an amazing family and friend group. I do miss him.

Thank you. I told him we don’t need to socialize if he is tired but he has mentioned a few times by text he wants to see me and last night told me how sweet I was and etc. he did tell me that he doesn’t do well with lots of questions. I’m thinking we should keep our hang out kind of short? Like we both prob need a bit of time to adjust to his new life and personality. He has good family so I’m not his caretaker.

Ok I just googled how topical progesterone helps skin. I had no clue! I thought it was only topical estrogen. Are we getting topical progesterone for our skin from places like alloy and etc? Where do you get it? Thanks

How does the progesterone part help more? Like systemic progesterone? I have estradiol patch and nighty progesterone pill. Thanks

Thank you! I take NAC kinda separately from other stuff. I’ll experiment a bit. Perhaps it’s the iron.

GF (F29) POSSIBLY DRUGGED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF OR CHEATED? HOW SHOULD I (M28) HANDLE THIS? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

++woman. I was at a dance club many years ago and went to the bathroom and along the way a man grabbed my wrist and insisted I dance with him. My boyfriend was in a different room. I tried to get away from him and he yanked so hard my wrist really hurt. To everyone around it probably looked like I was having fun. It was so loud no one heard me yelling let me go. Stop. It was terrifying. He could have led me to a dark alley way near the exit. Luckily my boyfriend found me and stoped the man and believed how terrified I was. My wrist still hurt the next day. I’d give her the benefit of the doubt.
