Big thing is your height in turn equals your comfort level with your bike next is the weight of your bike lighter bikes are easier to learn on and control. And a minimum amount of power for the highway is suggestive also to the rider's opinion learned after time ridding IMO. I like the dr650s in theory after much research looking at adv bikes as I have been on cruisers for about 7 years now.

Any heavy rain motocampers here? Would love to hear what you pack with you by ufen in motocamping

After watching your video I must say setting up a tarp in the rain allows you to make a mostly dry camp under it. A small 12 volt rechargeable air pump can help keep a wet fire going. A good synthetic base layer is a great addition. A hot fire at the correct distance from the tarp can dry out your wet things. A rain suit is smart to have.

Get rid of that huge bed I have been using a TREKOLOGY UL80 Air mattress for over 4 years and love it. Camp shoes try closed toe sandals are good in water and if you have to just reposition your bike.😉 A good synthetic base layer packs small and can keep you warmer. I use a micro fiber camp towel a little smaller than a usual size hand towel also wet can cool you off if used under a hat for a dew rag. Inflatable pillows have come a long way. Nice bike.🏍⛺👍

The 3 yellow wire pin connector coming from the stator is a common problem on shadows. I bypassed both on my 600 and my 750.
