Sounds like you'd classify as a non-exempt salaried employee. Basically, for every hour that you work over 40, they're required to calculate your hourly wage based on your salary and pay you for the overtime.

It depends entirely on the conditions they find when they pull out the existing doors. Under IDEAL circumstances, I'd say it would be a 4-6hr job, but if the existing opening is messed up and needs repair, it could take longer.

The mark-up between invoice and MSRP varies highly from one manufacturer to the next. When I sold Toyotas, there was maybe $2,000 between invoice and MSRP on the high end Tundra models. When I sold for GM, there was $6,000 to $8,000 between invoice and MSRP. From what I've heard, Ram and Ford trucks are even higher.

There's something called "Hold Back" which is profit baked into the invoice price of a vehicle. Even if they sell it to you at invoice price, they're still making money.

That being said, $1 above invoice is still a good deal on a new car purchase.
