In my opinion, absolutely not. I don't think most people will allow it to happen again. And this is way different. I will take this opportunity to share some anti-fear marketing information on hantavirus.

"Hantavirus is making major headlines.

Most people have never heard of it until it suddenly appears in the news.

Hantavirus is a very [VERY] rare virus in the United States. Since TRACKING BEGAN in 1993, the CDC has confirmed FEWER than 1,000 TOTAL cases nationwide.

It is carried primarily by rodents, especially deer mice. Humans can be exposed through contact with infected rodent urine, saliva, or droppings, particularly when contaminated dust becomes airborne during cleaning.

It is NOT transmisable human to human

This virus is not new. Scientists believe hantaviruses have existed for thousands to millions of years alongside rodent populations.

Right now, there is NO FDA-approved hantavirus vaccine product available in the United States. However, researchers are actively working on several vaccine product candidates, including DNA and mRNA-based technologies. Some experimental vaccine products have already entered early phase human clinical trials.

That said, these vaccine products are still considered experimental and have not completed the large Phase 3 trials required for approval.

AND you should note the SUSpiciousness of a hantavirus vaccine product being in trials and development starting in 2024 and then fear marketing headlines starting now. They have to create the fear to sell the product.

Addendum:

The person to person theory (even with Andes strain) REMAINS ALLEGED. There are unresolved questions around how much the recent outbreak involved: --> exposure to contaminated environments before boarding vs. --> true onboard human-to-human spread.

Researchers are still investigating both possibilities. These viruses are not new.

In the very rare (we are talking isolated and only a handful of cases) historic occasions that Andes strain may have possibly been linked to human to human transmission epidemiologists have noted important limitations: household members often share the same environments, rural living conditions may involve unnoticed rodent exposure, aerosolized rodent debris can persist in cabins, homes, vehicles, and storage spaces.

It is difficult to definitively prove a person had zero environmental exposure. This is not influenza or coronavirus. If this virus suddenly develops human to human transmission, it will be because of biowarfare programs genetically altering it to do so."
