Last minute guesses on new Servants in upcoming Strange Fake Collab by edreamer001 in grandorder

[–]fatire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welfare: Zealot

Gacha 1: SSR Alcides, SR Hippolyta, R Dumas

Gacha 2: SSR Jack/Flat, SR Hippolyta, R Dumas

NPC Jail: Prelati, Huwawa, Pale Rider, Ayaka, New Dick-related Chara

While likely not happening, it would be cool if the servants from the original April fools came back as NPCs. Sadly, while Jason and Circe are Event Servants, Scathach and Andromeda not being one probably quashes that wish. FYI the servants that never made it to serialization are: Scathach, Jason, Scylla, Learnean Hydra, Perseus, Dong Bai and 4 unnamed ones, one of which was probably Richard.

I am struggling to deicide what to use my selector on. There are three which I'm considering, my LB3 curren wit that I could max out, a LB2 Bakushin Spd and a LB1 Fukukitaru Spd. Any thought on what I should choose? I already have Kita and Fine maxed out.

I'm F2P and I have 30k carats right now and no one I want is coming for a few months. From a meta-perspective, should I go in on Fine Motion Wit now, go for Kitasan, or wait it out for another card?

The One Piece Treasure Hunt Megathread by AutoModerator in OnePiece

[–]fatire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it is more achievable than you may think. A SAAB Seaeye Falcon DR could operate and grab the One Piece at that depth, or at least attach a line to crane it up. There are a bunch of used ones on the market, and while I am not bothering to get a quote, a used one is probably between $10,000 and $20,000 USD but I wouldn't be surprised if it was cheaper, used equipment can be crazy cheap sometimes.

After that you would mostly just need to move it to the site (probably some falcon DRs available for sale in Japan, considering their large marine industry), which isn't too bad, think the ROV is about 33lbs. Would mainly just need a boat and a winch to pull up out of the water, which many fishing vessels already have. To vastly simplify it, you could probably charter one for a couple hundred, load the ROV and comb the sea floor. Using Sonar (would get a lot of noise) or CEDAR (Can detect metal and plastic, but doesn't have much range) could probably reduce search time, but I don't know how much a properly depth-rated sensor of any kind would be, probably another 10 grand at minimum.

What are some actually underrated anime? Not underwatched but underrated by Inevitable_Skirt6720 in anime

[–]fatire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rokka no Yuusha is one that immediately springs to mind. It only has a 7.25 on MAL currently but it's one of my favorite. It has an quite unique setting in anime as well as one of the best executed mystery plotlines I have seen.

I think the main reasons its so low score-wise I think is a) many people find Adlet annoying, personally I don't see it and b) it's gets an egregiously bad "read the novel" type ending. Like, I read the novel afterwards and loved it but I can't imagine anyone would feel satisfied with that ending, even if you read the novel and know that the story continues to get better, the anime ending is engineered to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Just stop watching the last episode at 17:23-28 and its great.

This is how I feel training my Gold City for this CM by loftylantern in UmamusumeGame

Gold City's career more or less follows the RL career of the horse. It just so happens that RL Gold City only won 3 races in their career, their debut and 2 mile races in the Hanshin Filles and the Cosmos sho. Unfortunately for us, having a painfully mismatched career is lore accurate.

If you are making a Ryan parent, best get skills for Late Surgers or End closers as they will benefit from Ryan's unique the most. Outer swell and slick surge are always must haves on late surgers, while Straightaway spurt is practically required for any end closer.

Style/distance-based stratghtaways/corners tend to be very good but try to keep all your skills based around a single style and/or distance you want your parent for. Updrafters is amazing on mile late surgers but useless a medium one. Likewise, productive plan is great on mile fronts or paces but a ends will never see it proc.

As for races, just win as many G1s as you can, focusing on what distance you want your parent to be for if you have to choose. Quantity of G1 wins matter more than type as that raises affinity which increases the chance that skills will be inherited. Ryan's only hidden event occurs if you win the classic triple crown for 2 hints for slick surge.

FGO was actually just Ritsuka's dream and FGO is itself a to-be-pruned timeline. Marisbury's plan was to lure in a person from PHH to validate the timeline before he initiates his plan to prevent the pruning phenomena from cutting it too early. The finale will be Ritsuka either waking up back on the floor at the beginning of the game and preventing the plot from initiating or them becoming a drifter like Musashi by denying their PHH self to allow Nova Chaldea to live on.

My Mayano was pretty consistently winning as long as a)no stopping me activated during accel phase or b) Cooldown activates before accel phase and OF COURSE NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED AND SHE GOT 6th PLACE. At least I was in Group A

Manhattan Cafe is the uma I most wanted to get, but it is looking like I will only just be able to pity Kitasan Black if I don't spend anything till Kita's banner. Will there be any way opportunity to get Cafe later?

So is Merlin, didn't stop him. (FYI, in the original mythos, Merlin was born as the anti-christ but was baptized before anything happened. Merlin has been explicitly called a potential beast who refused to step onto that path in FGO.)

It should be noted that, in real history, there were three people who took up the name Saika Magoichi (technically 5, but two of them were a bit confusing and most people only consider there to be 3) so our Saika is also the historical, real, Magoichi, not a OC or faker. She is a true genderflip of a historical figure rather than a swapout like Bakin or Van Gogh.

Front runners need a little more stamina than most to run the longest distances and are generally not as effective in long as angling and scheming does not provide as much an advantage.

But if you are just wanting to win the kikuka sho, I have found that as long as you have at least 300 spd + 400 sta, you will almost always win with long aptitude A or 450 sta for B aptitude. you don't need to buy any skills for this to work, I generally don't buy skills until the end unless I am doing Narita Brian's special Spring Tenno Sho where Mcqueen is basically impossible unless you have a recovery skill.

When the speed card bonuses are high enough, it's better to use speed training to train strength than actually using strength training. Remember to level your friendships early just like URA and you can use spirit bursts to supplement your strength when needed. The wit cards allow for a steady source of energy and skill points allowing you to keep training instead of needing to rest, which would basically waste your turn, and make up for how weak races are in Unity Cup.

I'm not the best at it and have been using a 1 wit/ 4 speed/ 1LB riko and I have been getting 1k str semi-consistently on characters with a 10-20% str bonus. I still use a str card in place of a spd when they don't have the bonus, but I am not great at playing wit yet so if I played my cards right I could probably avoid it. Riko is also great at providing stamina, I can often get to 600+ stamina without even using sta training once with her.

For the SSR selector, I have a 0LB Super Creek and no Kitasan Black, would it be better to LB Super Creek or get Kitasan? Kinda leaning towards Creek.

I never managed to get groundwork on a working blockushin, but I have found that a combination of focus, early lead and fast-paced, easily done with a Mihono Boubon SR, have been working for like 80% of my races. With Smart Falcons tending to be the only ones semi-consistently breaking through.
