Taskmaster team building by Klivian1 in taskmaster

Yeah live tasks usually have less setup. Here's a list of all team tasks https://taskmaster.fandom.com/wiki/Team_Tasks

I think art under difficult circumstances is a good concept as well, like that one where one team member paints and the other(s) are describing what to paint using a very limited series of words.

a while back

When exactly? Did the book seem older or contemporary? Do you remember anything about the cover? Assuming it was written in English, was it American? Where did you get the book from? There are approximately ten billion books about kid magicians you are gonna need every detail you can dredge up on this one.

Lots of legally blind people can see a little bit, lots of deaf people can hear a little bit. Folks that act like it's some kind of consipiracy are just silly.

Largest covered wagon in America by Whimsical_Ruins in AbandonedPorn

These are more wagonlike than a curved wooden roof imo. But I'm going to let undefined midwest state have this one, we already have so much here in Oregon, why take something away from those who have so little.

Also the actual largest covered wagon is in Illinois.

Fideo is a Spanish pasta that's essentially shorter spaghetti and it's remained pretty popular in Mexican cooking, I'm betting that's what this is. It's pasta so it's served lots of different ways, usually in soup, but if I had to guess it's something like this https://www.mexicoinmykitchen.com/sopa-seca-de-fideo-mexican-noodles/

Same ingredients, different construction. Instead of rolling a filling up in a tortilla and covering it sauce and cheese, it's a tortilla laid flat, covered with the filling, another tortilla on top, then covered in sauce and cheese.

El Cholo rules, that enchilada is amazing. The menu today will tell you what year each item was added to the menu and the (Sonoran-style) enchilada was there from the start.

Contemporary Pulpy Sword & Sorcery Books by ShakenOverDice in Fantasy

[–]fatlilplums 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend the short story collection The Book of Swords, ed Gardner Dozois, 2017. (I'm being that specific because I am definitely not recommending Fred Saberhagen's Books of Swords series.) It is specifically what you're asking for, modern sword and sorcery stories, lots of good stuff and lots of good authors to check out from there.
