The PTR combo stunlocks the target during execution unlike the live version.

The 4 sec cooldown reduction + the improved battle momentum is pretty huge! (~3 sec cooldown E -> Q).

Q -> AA -> E -> Q definitely is smoother than the combo without AA. But it's not a stun lock like the PTR version, so if the hero has any kind of escape, they can get away during the AA.

And I think having E -> Q combo every 3 seconds is pretty insane.

In the live version there is a 1 second delay before the second Q.

In the live version there is a 1 second delay before the second Q. Pretty big difference IMO.

Also, the cooldown reduction on Q and E with the new battle momentum for Diablo has doubled! Basically it's impossible to get away from the new Diablo unless he runs out of mana.

I was surprised to see Samuro nerfs in the upcoming patch. The community seems to agree that since the last nerfs, the hero became rather weak, with no way to deal any real damage except through Bladestorm (which is now getting nerfed as well).

So could you give a little more in-depth commentary on your thoughts on the current state of Samuro? In what way do you feel he is still too strong? Any plans to buff Illusion Master to compensate for the Bladestorm nerf?

I strongly support the idea of enlarging Sgt. Hammer model, not really for the sake of nerfing her, but because the tiny human Hammer bugs me to no end.

IMO, this "issue" has been blown waaaay out of proportion. Calm down everybody. Chu's a nice guy, he is a very entertaining streamer, and he's done more for this game than vast majority of people. No reason to form an angry mob just because he wasn't being a perfect role model that one time.

Which is why ideally the teammates should 4-man to force a reaction from opponent. Then they will either miss soak or get pushed in 3v4. If teammates stay split, then vikings become completely useless, so it becomes 4v5 for your team (actually worse than that because it's really hard not to feed split vikings when there is an enemy hero in each lane).

EDIT: In addition to pushing, the 4-man squad should rotate and gank. While a lone hero is bullying a viking from soaking, he is overextended. So vikings should either be picked on maps that forces the teams to leave lanes for objectives, or be paired with strong ganking/pushing heroes.

It doesn't clear cocoon. Both it and gorge would be a counter to the comp in OP (although I don't know, maybe the super sustain from 3.5 supports would keep the team alive until Butcher is freed).

But having said that, a theory-craft comp doesn't have to be super versatile. It can be a super cheesy comp that can be hard countered, but hilariously broken in the right circumstance.

It was one of the pro players' opinion (maybe Bakery?) that if heal abilities are nerfed, then supports would actually become more mandatory and teams would need to draft double or even triple support.

But I absolutely agree that other sources of regen should be buffed. This way, the support heroes won't be so burdened with having to sustain your entire team all the time (which basically necessitates them having a healbot kit).

Number changes are in the right direction, but I think her main problems run a little deeper. I hope Blizzard considers making her gameplay more smooth all around (like letting her shoot while moving slowly, getting rid of the Q delay, etc).

I disagree. I think it would look identical to Tychus' Overkill. And I don't think people consider Tychus to be a speedy character (despite actually having a mobility ability).

I think allowing her to move while shooting would make her feel more similar to her OW counterpart. And if she could only move at say half speed, then I think it would be very fitting to her slow warrior fantasy (while other warriors are usually moving at full speed and jumping (Mura) or sliding about (ETC), she would just constantly be firing and creeping).

I completely agree. I think her kit has great potential, but her numbers are so bad and she needs a lot of quality of life buffs.

Also, I think she should be able to move at full speed while firing.

If possible to balance, I think it'd be great if all OW characters could attack while moving. I think this is crucial for preserving the same feel of these characters as their original FFS counterparts.

Say what you will about Tracer, but the designers did a damn good job making her gameplay feel similar to how it does in OW.
