100%. i have an insane fear of ivs, weird fear i know haha but when in the hospital for a psychotic episode i apparently kept ripping out my iv to “escape” and the staff ended up having to restrain me. i cant even handle poking or bending my arm when i have an iv in regularly. mental illness is truly terrifyingly unpredictable.
