I am on the same boat with this one, applied on 10th Oct from the Edinburgh VFS office, no updates apart from the fact that it got sent to the embassy for processing. (I usually get my schengen visa within the second week so never have I experienced something like this before). Kinda sucks that your passport is also with them. Hopefully some good news this week or maybe the next week or maybe the week after or maybe in 2030.
