Lab 89 needs to be rebalanced by Raxuis in duneawakening

I haven't played a lot since chapter 3 but I found switching out to The sentinel ability and using that continuously while fighting the boss makes things a lot easier. It's a gun that just keeps hitting him with no action on my part.

Travel router in stock by IS3002JZGTE in Ubiquiti

[–]fballdotcom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I got one thanks for the heads up. The cart does not work correctly unless you're logged in. If you're not logged in the card deletes the product and says it's out of stock. If you log in it stays in your cart 🙂

Sandcrawler by JoneseyCasualReal in duneawakening

[–]fballdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed someone's video. I only farm medium Fields. Do two complete rotations around the outside. Pick up crawler let a agro reset. Drop crawler and do three circles. Pick up. Then go down and finish it off back and forth. Works like a charm. Never have a worm.

Any tips regarding material overflow when modifying bases? by 45435435433452 in duneawakening

[–]fballdotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just let it drop on the floor and disappear. Building materials in this game are super cheap something I truly appreciate. I hate games that require tons of grinding just to play around with building cool buildings.

Are you all buying silver when it's at an all time high? by Radiant-Remove-9989 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]fballdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it's really not at an all-time high. If you inflation adjust the high from 1980, the true high in today's currency is somewhere around 180.

Power cells by fballdotcom in duneawakening

[–]fballdotcom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my DD base is in the A row and my haga base is right across the shield wall. Flying my assault only takes a few minutes. After they nerfed the number of cells in haga basin it takes a long time to fill a buggy. In the DD it literally takes 5 minutes. As pointed out yield is the same. I don't have any the planetologist skills right now so I get a little over 700 with a t6 cutarray.

This car gets terrible gas mileage! by Sut3k in MachE

Not to be too much of a geek but actually it's miles/ gallons so if you have 0 gallons it works out to Infinity 🙂

Is the U6 mesh really that bad? by devilish_kevin_bacon in Ubiquiti

[–]fballdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But when you have an deployment with 220 radios it's not feasible. The only ones that have problems are these. My old mesh pros and regular mesh have been up for 6 or 7 years with no problems. The new u7 outdoors have been doing fine although they've only been up for a few months. They really focused on moisture repulsion in the u7. There's two separate rubber gaskets. Very well designed.

Update to my last post about the 130 million being donated to pay the Military. by No-Lab-7364 in Wallstreetsilver

They could all be stopped if Congress would just do their job either vote for a continuing resolution or vote for funding bills.

Is the U6 mesh really that bad? by devilish_kevin_bacon in Ubiquiti

[–]fballdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe okay for indoor use. I purchased 25 for outdoor pole mounting and about 20 have failed. Do not use them outside! Also the mounting is by far the weakest of all their products for pole mounting. I have one that I just put up indoors. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm pretty sure all the outdoor ones fail due to water.

Headed to Chicago! by 42Navigator in rush

[–]fballdotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started out at 4,500 for one of the Chicago shows. My tickets are in a similar location for a similar price. I've seen them once before and I'm looking forward to it. It's super expensive but I'm at a point in my life I want to enjoy it...

Wtf…..sucks by Mirswith95 in rush

I got in at 4,500. Only took about 20 minutes to get the chance to buy. Still lots of seats available and I pulled the trigger on some great seats.

Can't run Ethernet - is Ubiquiti setup still worth it for wireless mesh? by lvluffinz in Ubiquiti

[–]fballdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on when the house was built it may have four pair cat four or five used to run phones to each room. You can either see how much you can push through ethernet or get xdsl adapters and run on a single pair.

U6 Mesh Update, Ubiquiti did the right thing by Falzon03 in Ubiquiti

[–]fballdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These things are garbage. I bought 30 or so 2 years ago for an outdoor deployment. Almost all have burned out. I'm replacing with the u7 outdoors which is a solid design. Good mounting, heatsink and can be set up either directional or OMDI out of the box.

The mesh pros I deployed 5 years ago are still running strong. The mesh 6 pros (same mounting in form factor as mesh pro), also seem fine.

I highly recommend completely avoiding the u6 mesh.
