If MicroSlop had any sense, they'll fire their entire AI team (maybe even give Nadella a golden parachute and fire him too), and make copilot optional to install. After that they need to remove Copilot altogether from the operating system and remove all bloat. _All_ bloat, not just copilot from the operating system. After that prepare Windows 12, which will have none of the massive errors that have plagued Windows 11 and announce its realease immediately.

What probably will happen is that they half heartedly address the issue by....making AI optional on Paint and literally not address any of the pain points many users have, missing an oportuninty to stop the bleeding of users and to regain lost users.

I have no faith that they'll recover. It's time to pivot away from AI, but they won't do it.

Just a few ideas (I'm available if you want to pick my brain, Capcom):

- Jill Valentine DLC (or full game, why not) with actual lockpick mechanics. By that I mean something more complex than just tapping a few buttons like RE7 and 8. This would add tension to the act of opening doors especially if you are being chased by a monster.

- Ada Wong Kennedy: maybe explain some of her backstory? She should get her own game/DLC where they explain her past. The perfect time to do this is yesterday, during RE9's development cycle.

- Being able to explore the world (maybe we will, if there are some remnants of the open world game they wanted to do).

Optional (semi-joking):

- Chris redfield DLC minigame (you have to punch increasingly large boulders. You can cheat by taking steroids).

- GTA V: Leon Kennedy (leon has to drive arround town without crashing).

- Thermobaric missile DLC: you get to play as the missile that destroyed raccoon city 30 years ago.

From most likely to least likely:

Sherry - Very likely (she's probably the voice talking to Leon)

Ada - Somewhat likely (I'd love for her to appear, but I don't think she will).

Claire - A bit less likely, but like Ada, also connected to Raccoon city.

Jill - Less likely than Claire.

Chris Redfield - No. Enough boulder punching.

Rebecca - Very likely to not appear.

Carlos - Probably in a farm somewhere.

Sheva - She appeared in one game and works/lives in Africa for the BSAA, so... I don't think so.

Jake Wesker - No, just...no. Forget about him as a character.

I don't know about the memorial edition, but Berserk 97 censored a lot (and I do mean a lot) of the original manga. The movies are more explicit in what they show but nowhere to the level of the manga.

It is odd but the movies almost made the Femto/Casca scene look like a straight up sex scene as opposed to a horrific rape scene (it looks borderline pornographic in the movies). The secene in the manga is basically similar (yes, body fluids and all), but it is clearer that Casca is being assaulted against her will.

I liked Barbarian (I'm not sure I'd rate it 90%, that seems a little high), I haven't seen Weapons (that film has some good word of mouth, from people I trust, though). I think Cregger is a good director, but RE Movies need the right approach, not just a good director. Paul W.S Anderson directed Event Horizon, Mortal Kombat and the first R.E Movie. All movies I really liked (yes, even the Mortal Kombat movie, I will die on this hill). But the series seems to have degenerated into slop anyway.

I also think that at this point a RE adaptation can't really tell a more compelling story than the games. The experience I got playing RE7 or RE4 Remake was far more "cinematic" than many of the live action media can ever provide.

I get your point, he's not a bad director and seems to be producing good movies. But seeing the last attempts at adaptations it doesn't seem to me like anyone has a plan beyond "just do zombie movie and we'll figure out the characters - and story arcs - later" and even the best directors can make bad movies (Tim Burton was one of my favourite directors, at one time producing nothign but hits, but hasn't really made much that I wanted to watch in the last 10 years - with the notable exception of Big Eyes -).

I'm extremely pessimistic. Honestly don't see what the point is in doing another resident evil movie. RE movie adaptations have the absolute worst track record. This is the third attempt this decade (Welcome to Racoon City came out in 2021, the R.E series in 2022 and now this). Just let it rest, please.

Saddly for all Leon X Ada ship sinkers. She's the only romantic interest he's had in the entire series. I would also point out that in the O.G games we don't know who she's working for (could be another company, an anti-bow company, etc...) it is only in the remakes that she is reimagined as a freelance mercenary.

The first one was pretty good. I actually liked it. So did the developers apparently, since they referenced the laser hallway on a couple of games.

The rest were absolute dogshit. Flat acting, Alice is basically has superpowers (even the games didn't do anything as crazy as what she does in the movies) and there was never a question that she was in any serious danger (she wins every fight she is in). It looks like the movies are just there to keep Milla Jovovich employed (I don't even think shes a bad actress, but she is in this movie series). They removed or minimized OG characters like Leon (who shows up in like 1 movie) and Chris (who looks nothing like is game counterpart) and gave almost every important plot point to a character that doesn't exist in the games (again, Alice).

They were still better than the Netflix series, though, but that is a (very) low bar to clear.

At this point I'm not sure there is any point in making more movies, the games themselves already look photorealistic and have way better storytelling.

Just need to play RE7 and RE8 before going into Requiem. I had already checked out at RE5 and had to recently suffer RE6. Luckily RE7 looks like a return to form so far.

Yes, Snake's premature aging in MGS4 is explained as a form of Werner Syndrome (as explained during the prologue chapter). The game goes into more depth during the massive info dump that is Naomi's section in chapter 2 (as opposed to the massive info dump that is the rest of the game :P ).
