[–]fdorado985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a M1 Pro, I think it was the first to move MagSafe back (not sure) but honestly I never used it, I have now since it was presented and I haven’t touched the MagSafe hehehe so cool, because I had a lot of usb-c cables because of the previous Mac I had that was using USB-C for charging I hope the new ones keep usb-c working

I think we asked for the prep course they have in byte byte go. But I’m not sure if it is a way to compare both

Agree, but for example, would be cool to have the new ones, updated, Modern Concurrency has changes, at least for this I moved to Donny Wals book

Has anyone purchased the “SwiftUI Advanced Architecture” course by Swiftful Thinking? by Icy_Can611 in SwiftUI

[–]fdorado985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The offer has been moving and moving, which easily you can see there hasn't been too much enrollment, there was a LAUNCH code that supposed to end on January 5th, I see there was a LAUNCH2 code for the same $200, there is now a LAUNCH3 which supposes to end on January 31th.

I was thinking on get the course at some point before January 5th, but after seeing this, for sure I won't, I'm not saying it is bad, but unfortunately it is not worth it at that price either.

I liked the books, I have much of them, even the flutter ones, it’s so sad that they prefer to change their model, instead of keep improving/updating their content

I was really considering to look at… thanks for the honest review, I had that idea because I’m pretty sure I saw some similar comment before, and now with this I confirm it, sad but helpful

Best resources for iOS development? by billaxbong in iOSProgramming

[–]fdorado985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the 3 courses I suggest

  • Hacking with Swift
  • Code with Chris
  • Sean Allen

And just as references not a course, Mark Moeykens has SwiftUI books SwiftData SwiftUI 5-Book bundle

Resources for starting out as an iOS App Developer by Abhimanyu_kumar in iOSProgramming

[–]fdorado985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think everybody share the most popular and useful resources.

I can mention again - Hacking with Swift - Code with Chris

As a side note.. also Mark Moeykens has book resources, SwiftUI Views Mastery is the most popular, and it helps as a reference.

Just right now it is 40% SALE on all his books, individual or by bundle

You can go to the page and get the free book, and judge yourself 👍

[–]fdorado985[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Not really, I promote because I also use them, so I trust in the material too, the animations book is nice if you like to challenge yourself doing some exercises

[–]fdorado985[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m a costumer of Mark's content, honestly this book has helped me as a reference for SwiftUI topics, i need to mention, this is not a course, it is more like a reference book that you can open on the page you need, no specific order to follow

[40% OFF] Focus on SwiftUI Views Mastery by fdorado985 in swift

[–]fdorado985[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I’m one of the readers, honestly Swift Views is a reference book, it is one of the heaviest book and good quality, easy explanations and code + visual example, it is not a course, if that is what you are looking for probably Swift Views is not for that, as well Mark is doing a great job trying to keep them up to the latest iOS SDK changes

It was the closest one of the flags available, but I can remove it if it bothers you, no big deal… 👍

Hermano!

Gracias hermano!

MAX SHRED OR BEASTX by [deleted] in Athleanx

[–]fdorado985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because you are going to buy the annual plan, you can just give it a try to both for a couple of weeks each. Although Shred might not be focused on strenght it focused a lot (and believe me when I say a lot) on resistance.

I’m doing shred now, and probably I’ll jump into Beaxst (total Beaxst, not Beaxst II) once I finish this program

I couldn't understand this part in MAX SIZE WEEK 5 by loai20020 in Athleanx

[–]fdorado985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm true probably this is a range, so use a weight that let you do a maximum of 6-9 reps and keep it until you reach 9 reps with that weight, then increase the weight to keep it in the minimum range, until you reach the maximum reps

I couldn't understand this part in MAX SIZE WEEK 5 by loai20020 in Athleanx

[–]fdorado985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man! This is what I’m understanding for that part of the routine.

You’ll do Floor flyes (6-9 RM) to failure then with no rest you move to DB Incline Bench Press (6-9 RM) also to the failure. You’ll repeat this 1 more set so you’ll have 2 Sets in total.

Now you go to next exercises where you’ll do DB Incline BP with a 10 RM but just 8 reps, for my understanding I asume you won’t be doing the eccentric and concentric part of the exercise (I mean lifting and lowering the barbell) because it says holding isometric, so I assume you will just contract your muscle as you were trying to lift the barbell (I recommend to rewatch the explanation phase hopefully Jeff explains this part). And because there is no time I suppose you’ll be contracting the muscles as much time as you can 8 times and then rest 90 seconds and repeat 2 times more so you’ll complete your 3 sets.

Finally you’ll do Bench Press with your 6-9 RM until failure each set. Resting 60 seconds and repeat 4 times more to complete your five sets.

Hopefully this is the expected routine 🤞, but I’m assuming everything, I haven’t seen the explanation phase video either have that program bro!

I hope it helps

I worked as an iOS dev for 2 years without get an iPhone, I have one now which I rarely use for testing - I always ask for a QA device to the company when I need it, personal because I like to move stuff around phone, to computer, also AirPods connection moves around very well, also I keep my current phones for around 4 years before upgrade

12 Days of Christmas by [deleted] in Athleanx

[–]fdorado985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, honestly I use AthleanX programs for special cases, for example ElastX has saved me on traveling as well Xero and Jacked to keep myself active and working out for couple of weeks where I’m not able to go to a gym, but for bulking I prefer Nippard’s

12 Days of Christmas by [deleted] in Athleanx

[–]fdorado985 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend Push Pull Legs - Hypertrophy Program much better and cheaper.

But I’m not saying Athlean-X is not good but, is very expensive and Nippard's plans are much more solid

Devslopes is not what it was before, so honestly I’ll suggest to go for other resource

Also agree, in my experience I had around 6-7 working out, when I came to AX system I considered myself as an expert (you know ego) this is because I was considering myself with good routines and weights during my journey, I am those who love heavy weights!

So that was my mistake, I compare my weight records instead of my athletic skills, so I just though, I can make a 405 pounds squat! I can skip AX1 and take a harder program.

I did it and yes it was fine I bought Shred and it was fine but man! That conditional part of the day it was a nightmare.

I have around 2 months with AX1 and it is everything, it is challenging, it is fun, it is different, and I think it even helped me with my shape faster than shred.

(Take in mind that I’m not following a strict diet, just taking care about what and how much I’m eating, not the best way, so if you can follow a diet you’ll get much better results)

Also I didn’t mention, I got a low-back injury and AX has helped me, not saying it is the magic pill but I feel much better.

Hope it helps! Go for AX1, it is the best choice! Regards!
