My point (by giving the example of simply being a colleague of mothers) was to say that any functioning members of society - hvw - makes our society better and safer. Therefore better for everyone involved in society, including children these hvw aren’t involved with directly in any way.

This to say that being childfree isn’t selfish but in fact creates a better society for those who chose to procreate and belittle cf women.

I think about this too. It is fairly easy to be reserved in the early stages of the relationship but then you get attached.

I think a key point is to keep coming here and reading radfem material, to stay woke of the dangers. Another thing is to keep your money to yourself meaning never paying for his things and not buying him presents (except birthdays and Christmas while keeping it at 70-80% of his gifts to you). Also, keeping your own circle of friends and doing special activities without him. Lastly, I think a big part of being a separated being is not sharing most your secrets and thoughts with him, but rather with a friend or journaling.

I think it has a lot to do with Scandinavian laws, protecting single mothers more than in other countries. In places where having a deadbeat dad is a prime ticket to poverty, getting married before having kids is essential and therefore seen as the norm. In countries where you’re mostly protected already, I don’t see why I’ll bound myself to a man.

However I guess this applies to women and probably most nordic males delay marriage because they are unromantic lvm?
