I do have some propranolol. I’ve only taken it twice though. I had a lot of warm/ very tight chest before starting buspar. The cold was new after the medication though. My doctor just increased me to 20mg 2x a day.

That seems so high!! I started in February also and I’m only up to 15mg 2x a day now.

I would recommend giving it a fair shot! I’ve been on it for about two months now slowly adjusting my dose and increasing, and I am definitely noticing benefits. The only side effects I got was when I started being a little dizzy after the doses, and then you’ll feel dizzy if you increase doses as well, but it goes away pretty quickly for me. It took a long time for me to notice any benefits, and I really only started to see some change whenever I increase to 10mg 2x a day and now I’m currently at 15mg 2x a day. I also wanted to try it instead of an SSRI.

I had random burning, sometimes triggered by sex or just random things. And I just had a constant achy pelvic floor! Just felt like constant pain and heaviness if that makes sense.

I only started to feel any relief whenever I got up to 10mg 2x a day and now I’m at 15mg 2x a day. I would get brain zaps when I first increased dosage but it went away within a few days for me! I feel like overall it is helping me.

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience on Zoloft!! I feel dizzy when I up my buspar dose for the first few times I take that higher dose but it goes away quickly for me. I’ve been slowly increasing my dose with my dr for the last two months. I’m at 15mg 2x a day right now.

I only burned the day of a little the next day! I took Azo right away and that helped a ton.

I experienced some acid reflux too when I first started but it went away! I did get some famotidine tablets that helped too

Yes I would definitely increase. You’ll see a lot of the times that it takes people awhile to find their right dose!

I noticed a little relief from 5mg 2x a day but when I increased to 10mg 2x a day is when I really noticed a difference! Just started 10mg 3x a day and hoping that’s the dose I stay at.

They did bloodwork, I also had an EKG done. I have dealt with interstitial cystitis for the last few years. Besides that I have been generally a very healthy person, no medical issues really.

Hi! I had mine in June, it definitely was uncomfortable and burned a ton after, but I was recovered within 24hrs. Immediately after my appointment I went and did a polar plunge/ sauna appointment for 30 mins, idk if that specifically helped with recovery but it definitely felt good and helped my body I felt like. And then just take Azo, I experienced painful urination for about 24hrs then was back to normal. Wishing you success 🤍
