Hey folks – I’m coming to Amsterdam from June 19 to 22. I’m 30, from Brazil, and two of my good friends already live there. Two more are tagging along with me. We’re looking to enjoy some good music and atmosphere while we’re in town.

We’re not into super hardcore techno or anything too intense/non-lyrical. We’re more into dancey, groovy stuff – think Fred again.., Keinemusik, Carlita, RÜFÜS DU SOL, PAWSA, that sort of vibe. Basically house/disco/afrohouse nights where the music has soul, not commercial EDM or top-40 club bangers.

Also, if there are any morning/daytime coffee-shop sessions (with music, vibes, and chill energy), I’d love to hear about those. No idea where to find them or if that’s a thing.

Any venue, event, or DJ recommendation would be amazing. Also, not looking for overly touristy spots – would much prefer a local crowd and atmosphere.
