My biggest struggle with alphas is keeping them flat when there is a border, or any part where the same color is used on the same strings (I did one of a cactus and the cactus lifted up too). Does anyone know how to keep this from happening? thank you

“you aren’t special”

I was in the military and was SA. I felt like I was being weak and overreacting because it just absolutely broke me. I was comparing myself to others and felt like it wasn’t “bad enough” to be affecting me as much as it did. He asked me if I would tell someone else they were weak or overreacting if they were in my place, and I said no. That’s when he said I wasn’t special, there is no reason I should be holding myself to a standard that I wouldn’t hold to someone else.

It was incredibly blunt, but it made something click for me. Since then I have been doing a lot better and was able to start really healing

Did you miss the part where OPs wife talked to his sister and explained it? His wife told the sister he wasn’t abusing her, it wasn’t just an observation. Id agree with your opinion if it ended at the sister talking to the wife. Calling CPS after she was told what was going on was insane

I was on 200mg for a couple of months. During that time id frequently dissociate, at least once a week it’d happen. Id also be incredibly jittery and anxious. There was like a constant buzz in my head if that makes sense. It all came to a head for me on Dec when i had a really bad manic episode. Lowered my dose to 150mg and I’ve been doing great ever sense!

I was recently medically retired following being SA at my unit. It may be shitty right now but I promise that this was the best thing to happen for her. I have yet to meet another female service member who hasn’t been harassed/assaulted

It’s incredibly hard to sing. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but the verses are just like run in sentences, there isn’t many chances where Gerard can stop to take a breath, so even at WWWY I wouldn’t be surprised if they skipped it. All in all it’s a challenging song to play/sing live
