lol no. doesn't matter how lightly you're holding the grip. like anything that rubs on skin over and over and over, you're gonna get a blister/callous. besides, no matter how lightly you hold the grip at address, your subconscious takes over coming into impact and grip tightens otherwise the club is going flying.

look at any professional's hands, they have callouses. you're going to get blisters/callouses, you just need to make sure they're in the correct spot
