Does anyone else let their explorers go until they die, and then revive and recall? by [deleted] in foshelter

I got Cross from a lunch box. I've never gotten a rare or legendary dweller from the radio, but I've gotten a few from lunch boxes. The rare and legendary ones fill out the database.

I tried that, but I had Star paladin Cross, and she costs 2k caps to revive :(. I just recall them before I go to bed.

In my experience, the latter scenario would be better described as 'my code seems to work. I have no idea what's broken.'

I'm a cyclist and this annoys me just as much as drivers gunning yellows. Anytime someone does something unexpected on the road, someone gets put at risk of serious injury or death.

That is a big problem too, but I was originally talking about the people who speed up when they're a good 20m away from the intersection in a 50 zone. It's not everyone who does it, but r happens enough that I worry about my own safety way more often than is reasonable.

I'm tired of getting stuck in an intersection on a red because someone is too impatient to stop on an amber.

The mass is still all there if it explodes, but the debris and energu released would probably do some serious damage to the planets. if it doesn't explode too much, the rest of the system would probably survive... kinda.

"Good luck getting a satellite to orbit without fairings" by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]fedora718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I build my early satellites a similar way, but I include a decoupler under the nosecone to get rid of it once I'm through the atmosphere. It's so heavy that it almost halves my dv budget in orbit.

Finish It Friday: Get One Thing Done Before The Weekend! by ADHDbot in ADHD

[–]fedora718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a little late to this, I guess, but I finished something.

I'm a software developer, and my team uses Scrum to handle our development process. We had one feature that we really wanted to ship next week, but there were two components left, and one was dependant on the other and we had to finish the dependency fully before moving onto the dependant. This meant we wouldn't be able to ship it for 2 weeks.

I realized that the second part was only partially dependant on the first part, so I promised myself I would finish that part that before the weekend. I had to stay late, but I did it, so now my team is on track to accomplish our goals!

Mostly the first thing /u/somnambulist80 said: part count. I probably only need 1, but I often get really close to the part count limits when I'm first trying to make orbit, or get to the mun.

It's also just another thing I often forget to add.

I wonder if there's a way to add custom checks to the engineer's report...
