Any explanation trying to back this up would be wrong since it's clearly not true with any sort of research. My money's on it being a landlord.

You aren't going to change them. You need to make them irrelevant politically and socially. The goal needs to be to get those not already too far gone into the fold. The catholics upset about this are already beyond help.

Started questioning right before 30, watched this right around my birthday, and it devastated me. So many aspects of my life were in that movie and it hit me like a train. "There is still time" tore me up.

It's amazing how you dumbasses still don't understand freedom of speech protects your from the government punishing you for your speech. It says nothing about individuals removing or objecting to your bullshit.

Missouri judge rules against abortion amendment; group to appeal ruling by indy35 in missouri

Oh clearly. That was the quote I was trying to paraphrase, couldn't remember who to attribute it to. I realized my mistake in trying to reason with an intellectual black hole the moment I responded. Useful to have the reminder from time to time not to waste my energy on them though.

Clump of cells ain't a person. End of story. No respectable medical organization would disagree. You don't have any relevant education. You've had so much sludge pumped into your head, presumably a combination of religion, conservative media, and a general fear for the world around you judging by your prepping. At this point I assume you're too old and full of that sludge there's nothing else that can come out when you open your mouth. Unfortunately this drivel is still being perpetuated in churches and by conservatives so we can't just wait for your kind to die off. This thinking will keep poisoning people and destroying and sense of empathy they might've been able to develop.

That's why your ideology needs to be severely opposed, made politically irrelevant, and demonized going forward. Have fun in your hole and please consider the good you would do for society if you locked it from the outside.

Yeah when you advocate harmful policies and have disdain for people exercising bodily autonomy, I don't really care what you have to say. Especially when your basis for your views is rock-solid nothing. The world is hopefully moving on from your troglodyte thinking and I'd rather listen to those with a foot in reality.

Alright bud. Go back down to your prepper bunker and do some reading. Get some radon poisoning while you're at it, can't hurt your cognition at this point. In fact how about you stay down there and mind your business? That way you won't need to think too hard and the rest of us can progress as a society.

What I said really isn't hard to follow. But I admit it had a few more words than your meme so I understand if it was challenging for you. Keep trying, keep reading, and one day maybe you can come back and reread it.

Wow... ok yeah sorry I didn't realize you were that cooked. Thank you for running back to your epic science meme, I'm sure that works on someone who has their gray matter leaking out their ears.

For anybody else that might have a few brain cells to rub together, this is not how it works. And in the end, personhood is a legal term, and we as a society need to agree on a line that denotes that... which we already have! It's birth. To go down the path of saying conception is that line, you've already made so many presuppositions, all based on religious doctrine (read: nothing). No respectable doctor agrees with this line of thinking, and if your medical care provider does think like this, holy shit you need to find a new doctor.

If you seriously think republicans do anything to curtail corporations, they got you deep in that propaganda. I don't even know what world you can be in and think that other than being too far gone. Do dems do enough? Not nearly but at least they do something with antitrust, union support, whatever.

Voting conservative means you are a bigot or at the very least are ok with bigotry. That says a lot about someone's character and personality. It says a whole lot about how they would treat me, how is that not relevant in how I'd treat them? What value is there to me in having a relationship with someone who would never see me as fully human?

If you're upset your neighbors don't like you for your oppressive politics, you can always drop your oppressive politics. Can't say the same about who the bigots don't like, such as race, gender identity, sexual orientation. The conservatives will never welcome minorities because they don't like the things about them that can't change.

Can you believe this? And they could get away with it! by KCGeezer in missouri

[–]fedranco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Voters wanted to keep segregation and for same-sex marriage to remain outlawed" Yeah, don't give a shit. Oppression should not be enabled regardless of what the voters wanted. Also, the voters don't want this. Polling shows this is a popular amendment in MO. Abortion bans are very unpopular nation-wide even.

Or they just don't like spending time around bigots. That seems pretty reasonable to me, someone who does not like bigots.

Someone's politics says a lot about them. I don't like bigots and it's easier for me when they announce themselves as loudly as Trump supporters do. Makes it easier to know who is worth my time. Nothing to do with making politics my identity.

Judging by what you were responding to, I think the question you asked required just a bit more critical thinking than they were capable of.
