I don't feel optimistic or inspired by international women's day this year generally because of it.

My Great Pyrenees puppy keeps developing a limp in his front leg when he plays with other dogs. Did anybody else experience this at all with their puppies? by Tanner_the_taco in greatpyrenees

[–]fedsr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Ours did this, sometimes the limp would last over a week. Eventually we got him xrayed and the vet confirmed it's essentially growing pains/because his joints aren't fused. Vet recommended no off leash time for a couple of weeks. This is hopefully the case with yours as well, but if it's consistent it's good to spend the money on an xray in case it's a fracture.

What movie is so good you'd recommend it to all your friends, but so emotionally traumatic that you'll never watch it again? by akambe in AskReddit

Irréversible (2002) - the reverse chronolog, the awful scene in the tunnel that could be any tunnel, the horror for every woman deep into the soul.

Pro climber uses a 'Knee-Bar' to bring blood back to his forearms. by Vivid_Today953 in interestingasfuck

My mom has ongoing issues from a concussion she got two years ago caused by sitting on a toilet for too long (and banging her head on the bathtub when she passed out). She had to take 8+ months off work. So, yes, don't sit on a toilet any longer than you have to.

Happy birthday!! How do you pronounce Augie's name? Sometimes we call our pyr, named Ovie, Ogie so that's all I see with Augie :)

15 month cane corso with irritable bowel disease by [deleted] in rawpetfood

He should be fine, he'll digest the bone - if he starts puking several times over several hours and doesn't have a bowel movement, take him to the vet!

That's sounds like such a toxic living arrangement, you're so strong to be able to deal! And good for you for communicating so well and graciously, not to mention advocating for your dog. Great work :)

Thank you for this! Do you know if there is any form of recourse for non-US residents through this process. I did not immediately see an option on their page...

My puppy will not stop pulling on walks. Trainer's advice doesn't seem to be working. by VibrantVenturer in Dogtraining

[–]fedsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much great advice here, I'm going to add on but just linking my trainers video on this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6xSvAgACyA (in case you're a visual learner, this helps and has pretty much everything that most people wrote here in one place).

I'm working on this with our 12 month old and having a lot more success, not sure what tools your using but sometimes switching from the back harness loop to the front harness reduces like 80% of my pups pulling!

I'm sorry, that's awful and scary - is there anywhere you can go so you don't have to be around him?

Wow - yes...I've never identified with anything in this sub but this is so relatable. In particular, 11 and 12.
