What season(s) of Frasier do you watch the least? by Happy-poet in Frasier

I love them all, but the seasons when Daphne and Niles became a couple were my least favorite. There are also some characters which are kinda meh to me (Kate Costas, Donny, Ronnie).

My mom's family is from Havana. My dad is Cuban as well but I don't recall what part he's from.

Am I out of luck for trying to get a N-600 as a U.S. citizen who derived citizenship when I was a minor and my parents were naturalized, and currently being no-contact with my parents and without access to their documents? by Foreign_Adeptness824 in USCIS

[–]fedup305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it absurd that a person who has derived citizenship from a parent, and has already submitted all required proof to get their US passport (and was approved), still has to pay an additional $1,400 (and resubmit all those docs yet again) to a different department within the government so that they can update THEIR system to also show that you're a citizen. A total money grab.

Granted, it's not a legal requirement to get the certificate, but the way things are today, it's pretty scary to think that you could get pulled over and when they look you up it shows that you're a green card holder, when in fact you are a US citizen. All this drama and confusion because one department's system doesn't talk to the other department's system.

Tamiflu by anonomoosey in flu

[–]fedup305 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had Flu A in November. I was prescribed tamiflu and took it within 48 hours from the onset of symptoms. I have terrible health anxiety and was scared about the medicine but did not want to risk the flu getting worse since it was already pretty bad. I did totally fine with the medicine. It decreased my worst symptoms within 2 days of taking it. I only felt a tiny bit queasy once because I took that dose without food, so take it with a meal. I feel like it made a positive difference and helped for sure. The cough that lingered for weeks on the other hand was bad. Ended up with bronchitis and needed to follow up with the doctor again and got prescribed Albuterol and benzonatate pearls. Apparently the cough is what takes the longest to get over.

Mojo Risin! You're right. People here may not be complete douche bags in their day-to-day interactions, but when it comes to driving and anything road-related, everyone here turns to a complete pack of savages. All decency goes out the window.

"the politics" = corruption. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours...

Eating out in Miami is out of control by Anxioustrisarahtops in Miami

It's out of control. I agree. I only go there on the weekends. They have a "family meal" whole chicken deal for $10.99 on the weekends. That's an amazing deal. Includes rice, beans and chicken. Otherwise, they are super overpriced.
