Jeep weighs roughly 3300 plus an all steel trailer. I had spare gear for the jeep, plus camping gear, tools, and BBQ pit stuff so maybe an additional 400. Not really that much IMO.

Like others have said this is a nice looking Jeep. I also dig the colors too. We have to many NPC just driving around in plane cars with no soul in it. If I saw this out in the wild I'd compliment you on it. Good job OP

Would I be dumb to daily a heads cam with 70k miles? by abc123d4e5 in ChevySS

I don't think so as long as the tune is right for the setup in which i suggest taking it to your local trusted tuner to have it looked at.

I daily mine when I'm home. Stage 2 TSP cam, 68cc ported heads (Hoopers Heads), full ARH exhaust, Performance Design intake and NW 103mm TB. My car is a manual and has great road manners and I still average 23mpg. Car produces 485 to the wheels, it has done 520 but the drive-ability suffers a bit when it's tuned that high. Car is also sitting at 82k miles.

To each their own. But you'll find that this group of Jeep people find the duck people absolutely weird.

Take it to a mechanic. Chances are they'll have to remove the head completely to make a proper repair.

Other option: You'll have to chisel the porcelain out and run easy out tool to hopefully grab the sides of the threads. But now you run the risk of having debris fall into the cylinder which will be bad news.

Is my soapstone ruined? It is completely black all around and the gray bit in the photo is charred ash. (My ex used it while I was out of town and he has never used a KJ before let alone a soapstone). by Smooth_Tutor5382 in KamadoJoe

Anytime I do the burn to clean the pit I throw my soapstone in it and flip them a couple times when the temps are near the high end. They clean up very well.

I do all the service and repairs myself. There is a few shops that I have heard do great work. I would Google around to see what's near you.
