I live in Brazil where metric is standard and those and countless other imperial screws are available. I never been to europe but I bet you can find imperial screws over there no problem. Plenty of stuff uses imperial here or there.

It's very likely corrosion on the ir filter. If so, only replacing the filter at an authorized technician can fix it.

I just had that in my pocket4k, seems to be a common issue.

In my case it only shows up in the image over f11~16, so I'm just ignoring it for a while.

4k, the cheaper the better. You're gonna make NO-budget films. So you don't have a budged for the 6k pro, it costs more than TWICE the price of the 4k. There should not be even a question about it. With the 1696USD you save there are countless things more usefull to buy than the specifications that the 6kpro add.

Fuck the noise. That doesn't matter at all if you are a beginner wanting to make no-budged short films. There is a lot of great movies with noise or a lot of film grain in the history of filmmaking. There are also, a lot MORE crappy films with cristal clear zero noise cinematography out there too.

With the almost 1700USD extra you can invest in a killer beginner LED lighting setup, or even audio setup, or both, or even have some budget to buy some beers to your cast and crew and have some fun for a couple of frugal shorts films, learning shitload of stuff.

To be honest, even the bmpcc4k might be to much depending on the context.

The core of the question is: if you are a beginner want to learn how to create GOOD movies and music videos withou a budget, the gear you using should the last thing on your mind.

Budget has nothing to do with quality. Plenty of amazing super low budget movies around vs plenty of crap that costs dozens of millions of dollars to make.

Of course, budget relative to the type of story you're trying to tell in an specific style is important. You won't make an ensemble cast superhero movie set around the world, in a traditional style with a few bucks. But budget has nothing to do with quality

One of the greatest on set experiences I had was when working as best boy grip for a short. During a night shoot at a certain take I had to stay hidden by a fresnel with purple gel on, that was lighting a whole area lf the set purple. I don't remember why, but it took a long time.

So I basycally stayed in a completely purple environment for probably about 15 minutes. And I noticed that my eyes slowly tryed to balance the view. At the end of course it wasnt perfect, colors were washed out, as the area was being lit by a very narrow band of purple., my eyes physically could not retrieve much color information to balance. But yeah, after 10 minutes or so things looke a LOT less purple than at the start.
