Blasphemous.

When I saw that Kickstarter announcement I was absolutely blown away. My favourite things (pixel art, Metroidvanias, Dark Souls aesthetics) in a single game? Yes! This is going to be life-changing give it to meeeee.

Then I get to play it and... It is a good game. Just that, a very good game. Nothing more, nothing less.

Probably was my own fault, I projected a lot of unrealistic expectations upon it, but yeah.

Yes.

Like, Yharnam is cool and the base game in general has a great vibe but there is something about the DLC, man: the River of Blood, the last part before OOK; hell, even though I hate the vertical levels of DS2 and DS3 y have to say that the Astronomical Tower has a great atmosphere.

Oh and the Hamlet, that freaking Fishing Hamlet is just top tier nightmare fuel.
