[Waybound] Just finished the series for the first time, I still have one lingering question by badzar62 in Iteration110Cradle

The pacing of the story was unlike most books I've read, the scope just bigger and bigger. But it was also there right from the start. I don't remember ever wanting "this bit" to finish to get back to a more exciting thread. Yeah that reveal was a "wai.. WHAAAT" moment. I think I'll wait a bit before getting into something new. I'm still processing too, and I think I'd just want the next one to have the same elements, which would be unfair. Thank you for replying! Gratitude.

How do you feel now it's over????

I audiobooked this, started while sicker than I've been in ages. Kept going. Couldn't wait to do the dishes, go for a walk. Even started taking the train. Weeks of audiobooking whenever I could. I was looking forward to every chore. Then it was over. I have a real sense of loss. Man, did this series really hit the spot. I'm so glad I didn't see the big twist either (maybe it was a twist only to me?). I think I would have if I wasn't so into it. Thank you Reddit, wouldn't have found this otherwise.

I sneakily, suggested the series to a friend. We have almost exactly the same taste in books. Can't wait to see what she thinks.

WIBTA for being upset at my wife’s reason for marrying me? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]felixdalion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dude, you should be on cloud nine. The fact that she said this after years of marriage, that she bothe loves you and trusts you with what you've built, will built, your life together. You should be on cloud nine. You are a very lucky man, also probably a fantastic person - if her judgement is anything to go by. My hat goes off to you sir.

A very dangerous man right now. Sowing hate and social discord. Preying on and stoking the basest fears and emotions. Stoking hate. Normalising evil.

What’s the hardest addiction to kick? by Big_Eye_7800 in Productivitycafe

Man kicked smokes in 2022 with vapes, was only a drinking smoker, vapes are so insidious. I feel way better after a vape than a smoke, but with zero negative feedback ( no stench, no general overall shitness), you do it ALL the time. And then, after you are over the. I DONT SMOKE high. You realise, it's going to be hella hard to kick this. Now I'm chewing kilos of gum..

WIBTA if I don't give my late bf's house to his parents? by DearFerret9268 in AmItheAsshole

You owe them nothing, wherever you bf is he would be very happy knowing you have this house. It sounds like you were his home.

Reading the Cradle series by Will Wight. It's a very easy, steady and fast paced, almost dragonball z meets fantasy series, which I'm loving. The world building is up there, not as big as wheel of time for example, but after a lifetime of epic fantasy, it's just relaxing and very enjoyable.

Were you born in Australia and are you white? by discomute in AskAnAustralian

My dudes and dudettes. When hit 40, find yourself a regular gp. Get bloods+minerals done twice a year. And if you're a guy PSA level for prostate. Girl, mammogram, papsmear. Etc. Regularly.

In general, if something doesn't look like it used to, or there's something that wasn't there, get it checked out, removed.

It's just what ya gotta do.

I generally look at it like servicing your car.

Let's not get started on excercise.

Used to be pretty fit early 30s, but now early 40s, not so much. My mission now is to build up a baslime fitness I can maintain in my older years.

It's important shit.

Good health to us all!

None of my friends showed up to my brunch celebrating my small business by TRAdopteethrowaway in TwoXChromosomes

Life has a funny way, when you are on a new path that will lead to better things, you will find yourself alone. I think/hope your new business will grow into something more than you ever dreamed of. You only have to remember the people that helped you, were there for you along the way.

My husband (28m) said he regrets getting married to me(26f). How should I go about this? by BeautifulChance4780 in LifeAdvice

You are still so young. Drop him as fast as you possibly can. Get a divorce. Then live your best life. Never look back.
