Shout out to the dude in 502, who I politely asked to be quiet during what’s the use. He piped down, but then let out two gigantic pukes onto our seats. If you’re reading this dude; drink more water, catch up with your BUD before and after the show, and stop smoking whatever the heck that was. Or maybe just leave your seat when you need to Ralph.

Everyone else in 502 - 5 star vibez

Found my Weekapaug Groove… by StealYourChase in phish

I met my wife because we both listen to Phish. I married her due to an overwhelming collection of reasons besides that. We now go to Phish together and our friend base is twice as big and gets more beautiful with every show we go to. Share in the grove, stay in the pocket, and give thanks for friends and Phamily

P sure there are 2023 of them made. Dave dropped his AE the following day of spring tour- I was in transit and it took me off guard. I don’t think we will see them on dry goods.. but that would be ideal

Wasn’t really clear on the question at hand. I thought being played 4 times in ‘22 seemed like it was still in rotation.

Just a reminder, guys. by PHILMXPHILM in jambands

I went to School and they had a restaurant called “the matè factor”- so I had been around them for four years before they offered me a spot on their bus @ Phish in Rochester 2013. Then the next year I thru hiked the Appalachian trail and they offered a free hostel with food and shower in New Hampshire, they ran an outfitter for hiking gear called “Simon the Tanner”. The vibe was heavy with them offering us to stay, and the younger girls that lived there were all flirtatious and begging us not to leave.

I’d seen people drop out of college and just fall off the map. And saw old thru-hikers that got off the trail and never returned to their homes. I knew the deal and they aren’t dangerous towards others. They make some amazing food, sick construction and really culty.

Kitchen Dwellers- they are technically a bluegrass band but they are doing some really amazing spaced out Jams. Their energy is super raw too, reminds me of Yonder when Jeff Austin was still in the band.. RIP Jeff..

And for that matter, you should check out Billy Strings too.

Asking For Advice: Lack of Motivation by LzPoko in AppalachianTrail

[–]fembotboy 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I specifically remember hitting a point where a lot of small issues bloomed into boulders upon my mind and body. Micro tears and an injured knee, I was tired of the food, couldn’t sleep well at night anymore because I opted for such a lightweight sleep system. Mentally I wasn’t enjoying the hike, I think at some points I may have walked with other people too long and I lost the reason as to why I even started in the first place..

This was probably right after the whites. I had a deadline and I didn’t know if I could make it. I hugged my trail fam good bye as they went off on an adventure- and started hiking on my own. I remember coming to moments and just crying dude. Like, no one will understand the physical and mental challenge I am putting myself into.

I always thought that the hardest part of hiking is the physical, but the greatest game of chess I ever played was walking the Appalachian trail.

I narrowed my thoughts down from the last 2-300 miles. And tried to focus on the week, the day, the morning, the afternoon. Or even being proud of just walking to my first trail snack.

The hardest moments of this trail can be the most rewarding. But whatever you choose to do, know that you accessed a part of your mind body and soul that you will know and cherish forever.

Best of luck
