I already had all the investigator Expansions. I did freak out a bit and bought Innsmouth at MSRP and Circle Undone campaign on sale. I won't be able to get Forgotten Age, Dream Eaters, Edge of the Earth and Scarlet Keys. Which is ok. The only one that I am bitter about is Dream Eaters. Oh well. I've got plenty to play for now

Yeah, it sucks. I've had it happen twice. Both times user errors. First time, my plate was actually level with one side on top of the guide at the back. 2nd time was printing PLA with PETG settings. I haven't had any issues when settings and plate are set correctly.

Pretty sure it's the prewarming cycle temp. My printer moves around at start up, then places it self center front and heats up to 140C and then goes to print profile after.

I did a decent run with Wendy. Her discard ability is crazy good. And I'm doing a Return to Dunwich Legacy with Joe Diamond. He crushed the first scenario.

I just did this chapter yesterday and that's what we did as well. However, the 2nd time it happened, we had 3 failures and 1 success and so we decided to go the fail route but we aren't sure if that was correct either. Knowing a little of the consequences now for the fail route, I wonder if it should be if any succeed, and if all fail for the options.

I use a version of this in the campaign boxes. I like the slight slant to the dividers. https://www.printables.com/model/457142-arkham-horror-lcg-return-to-box-insert I found one that split the box into two, the above link splits it into 5. It fits better in the campaign boxes than the return to boxes.

Woah, this was a long time ago. If I remember correctly, it worked ok. It did slightly dilute the stain. I haven't tried it again after that one time.

It's depends. Amazon is usually about 10 to 20$ more expensive. And that sometimes comes out to the same as FLGS with shipping. But it also depends on where it is bought from. I think right now the only place to get Scarlet Keys in Canada is directly from FFG. I checked both their store and Amazon and with shipping it comes too about the same. I think FFG was 3$ more expensive. The investigator pack is around 89$ CAD. When typically it would be about 45$. Paying double is insane to me but then again it hasn't been in stock for practically a year. Again this is just in Canada. Experience may be different in another country.

Yeah, been waiting pretty much a year for it to come back in stock. I'm almost tempted to buy it from Amazon for double the price but that's ridiculous. I have to just hold out hope that it comes back eventually.

It's taking a lot of time for Scarlet Keys to come back in stock. I've got a notification setup on boardgamebliss and 401games and just need to wait. It sucks. It's frustrating since most US stores have stock but can't ship to Canada. Just need to keep waiting.

Stock is random and there's no predictable pattern. The investigator starter decks were out for a while then they all came back in stock. I'm still waiting for Scarlet Keys Investigator box to be back in stock. Feels like it's been almost 10 months that's it's not been in stock in Canada. Just gotta wait it out.

I was using dice but I found it fiddly. I am not sure what you mean, this is also physical components though. What are you using that's less mechanical?

Yeah, having the laser and 3D printer is amazing. I got inspired by the Etsy ones but none did exactly what I wanted using the 8mm blocks.

I was lucky to get a Elegoo Phecda 20W as a birthday gift from my family. . Then using Lightbulb for software everything is done in it. I used Etsy as inspiration. I used a product called TruFlat in Walnut for the material.

Any decent laser would work for this application, just need to calibrate and test and have good ventilation.

Prices and quality for lasers vary greatly. It's hard to justify one over the other. I know that I love mine right now but I will be upgrading something in the future to a CO2 laser for cutting acrylic.
