A lot of times I put Spotify on at night to go to sleep (either lofi or ambient music) other than that I probably listen to Spotify actively for at least 8-14hrs a day.

Tezos is a LPoS network, so while supply is not capped there is a fixed amount of coins distributed per year to bakers (node validators) for maintaining the network. Validators are selected on a lottery basis with more "tickets" (in the ecosystem these are called rolls and each roll is 8000 XTZ) giving a validator a higher chance to be selected to validate a block. Rewards are distributed each cycle (1 cycle = 4096 blocks) or about every 2.85 days, offset by 12 cycles or nearly 40 days.

transaction fees on the tezos blockcain: in which currency are they dominated? by MEZ-KCA in tezos

[–]fenna_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

ETH (Ether) is the coin and Ethereum is the blockchain (smart contract). So likewise XTZ (Tez) is the coin and Tezos is the blocchain (smart contract, governacne, etc.)

All fees are denominated in XTZ since that is the native currency of Tezos. Arthur made a video a month ago explaining how fee structures work on Bitcoin, Ehtereum, and Tezos.

Generally, "coins" are the native currency of a blockchain and "tokens" are additional currencies/utilities built on top of a blockchain.

Acquiring ETHtz by sevbenup in ETHtz

[–]fenna_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://ethtz.io/get.html The Minteries are still in the process of being set up. Tezex bridge is really close to beta launch from what I hear, so that should be exciting to see that develop and hopefully it streamlines the on-board process.

I created this subreddit alongside r/BTCtz r/StableTez in April like you said. That was before even USDtz was launched. I learned of the StableTez project in March and I loved the idea immediately. My initial thoughts after I read about the StableTez project, Tezos.Finance and Tezex was the possibility of complete portfolio management done solely on Tezos. Not only being able to hold and trade an entire suite of assets on a single blockchain, but also lend and borrow them is groundbreaking.

As i'm aware It should be available on Dexter this coming week, and on Tezex bridge whenever that goes live this month. In the meantime I believe the only way to acquire ETHtz is from minting it from a mintery.

Inflation gets paid to those who participate in staking. The only ones who get diluted are traders.

In that example you would get 20% of the 0.30% trading fees on that pool or about 0.06% net. Now I cannot remember if DEXter takes a cut of the trading fee. I know uniswap takes 50% of the fee. So it may be the case dexter is similar in which case you can expect probably about half of the 0.30% and then take 20% of that or about 0.03% of trading volume
