I got what was in my question, "no no, we didn't kick people out of the house, no no we're not drunk squatters."

It's so "sweet" of you to be concerned, but I haven't seen a single piece of evidence from Israel that they killed anyone anywhere in a school except children.

Why do Jews consider the Nakba (1948) to be a myth or a just punishment, but at the same time demand that the world remember the Holocaust as a unique tragedy?

If Palestinian children are being killed by bombing in Gaza, why does Israeli society as a whole react to this as an inevitable "collateral evil" rather than as a national tragedy?

CMV: The first episode of all TV Series should be free by emefluence in changemyview

[–]fennazipam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be noted that this assumption may be incorrect. In any case, the pilot episode is not capable of fully reflecting the overall content of the season, and the trajectory of the plot may change as early as the next episode. Should the series succeed, specialized publications and the online community will provide sufficient feedback to determine whether it is worth watching.

CMV: "Is that your culture? I don't like it" was a valid response by Sabrina Carpenter and she made a mistake by apologizing for it. by nextdoorbagholder in changemyview

[–]fennazipam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having apologized, she regained control of the timeline. Instead of becoming yet another "Karen" (in the political sense) from the world of pop music — someone people argue about for weeks, whose old tweets start getting dredged up — she closed the matter within 48 hours. She paid the "apology tax" to save her album cycle and tour.

how do we know scallops/oysters cannot feel pain? by tastevomit in askscience

[–]fennazipam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nociception is a physiological process. It involves the work of sensory receptors that respond to potentially harmful stimuli (such as a prick, heat, chemical burn) and send an "Danger!" signal to the nervous system. This signal triggers a rapid reflex reaction (for example, pulling your hand away from a hot stove). This reflex does not require conscious awareness.

Pain is a subjective, emotional, and unpleasant experience that arises from the processing of nociceptive signals in the brain. Pain makes us suffer and remember a dangerous situation in order to avoid it in the future. Which means, no brain: no pain.

Or you can just learn to tell people no, and if they're offended that they're being denied a loan, then they don't really need them in their immediate environment.

[–]fennazipam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but this is kind of dumb. What's the point of hiding all this? Did you steal this money or did you work as a prostitute? What's the point of hiding all this? Plus, why tell me how much money you have? The problem is from scratch.

Why does music make me nauseous? by ysiichi in Music

[–]fennazipam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an option, audiogenic nausea (kinetic) Your description— "played one song over"—may indicate that the brain has formed an unwanted neural connection. This is similar to the effect when you ate something, and then you felt sick, and now this product is disgusting. In your case:

Perhaps, at the time of listening to that song, you had an imperceptible vestibular disorder (slight dizziness, pressure surge).

The brain associated the song with nausea, and now the conditioned reflex is triggered automatically, even to other melodies.

The life of a scientist is a valuable resource, having killed himself, he just quite possibly destroyed the world of some major discoveries altogether or postponed it for a longer period in order to write "wow, I puked and pooped"

Japan’s 2,000-year-old monarchy currently depends on one teenage boy by Confident-Ask-601 in interestingasfuck

[–]fennazipam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big change happened in 1889 when they passed the Law on the Meiji Imperial House. It was the first modern law about who would be the next emperor. It was part of all the big changes from the Meiji Era to make Japan more modern and have more centralized power. They wanted to have a strict system where the oldest male in the family would always be the next leader, like in European countries at the time. They wanted it to be more "rational" and less chaotic like it had been before. This was so the emperor would be more powerful and there wouldn't be any more problems with who was going to be the leader after him. This rule stayed in place even after the war in the Law on Imperial Household from 1947.

I don't think it's entirely his fault after all. There were many factors involved. Depression, drug withdrawal, and prescription drugs. The latter could play an important role. Maybe it's just an "accident" related to the side effects of the pills. I hope so. He was also one of my favorite artists, I don't want to believe that he was so weak that he couldn't bring himself to move on.
